We emailed the owner, Denton West with details of a planned outing. Denton promptly emailed back with answers, setting up our float trip. We floated the White River, had a great time. Having the shuttle bus and his expert advice gave us a leisurely, enjoyable time on the river. Denton also does sales and service on mountain bikes, and uses the bus and trailer to shuttle riders up and down the mountain trails around Eureka Springs. Having an expert assisting you with advice and service is priceless! Adventure Mountain Outfitters is your smart choice.

Been renting high quality bikes from Denten for two years. Always outstanding. This year he hooked us up with kayaks and shuttle at the last minute when the competition float people across the street cancelled on us.

We had a great day downhill mountain biking with Denton as our shuttle and guide! He was very helpful in fitting us with bikes and getting us to and from the best trails in Eureka Springs. We learned that he actually maintains all of the trails and that’s why he has such a good knowledge of the area. Would highly recommend!

BEGINNERS PLEASE READ: Denton is a hospitable host and, among other things, offers shuttle services to numerous downhill mountain bike trails that I believe are absolutely thrilling to people who have quite a bit of experience on a mountain bike. However, I am not one of them! I am writing this review to inform others and help them to avoid the situation we found ourselves in.

I don’t feel my intermediate mountain biking husband was given an accurate description of the skill level needed for the green trail #6 on the phone, as a “beginner” trail, which unfortunately led to my novice self and two of our friends barely making it down the mountain without being injured. My husband, however, found it to be a blast. I am certain this was not a deception on Denton's part. I think he just has so much personal experience with mountain biking (and other sports) that his perception is not able to see things from the lens of a true beginner.

If you’ve never been on a mountain bike before, or anything close to that, don’t go down these trails. You also will want to be on a bike you trust and are familiar with. My husband says, even for trail #6, you need to be confident in your ability to handle your bike with good breaking technique, managing berms, negotiating your line on some rock garden areas, and spend the majority of your ride downhill off your seat. If you don’t have a dropper post, you’ll want one for this. One option for beginners may be…below the downhill trails, there are cross country style trails that we understand would be suitable for beginners. Best of luck and be safe!

I fealt compelled to write this review. I have not been to Denton's shop but if he treats his customers anything like he treated me today I would for sure buy a bike from him. My girlfriend and I had heard there was a shuttle service in Eureka Springs at Leatherwood Park along with some incredible new downhill trails. It had been raining all morning and we weren't sure if the shuttle would be running. We were literally the only car in the parking lot. Not even 5 minutes after arriving Denton came by with the shuttle. He shuttled us for the next two hours and gave us some awesome insight on the other trails in the area. Thanks for making our trip awesome man. We will for sure be back soon.

I called Denton to rent a mountain bike on a Monday. He said he is usually closed Monday and Tuesday but come by and he would see what he could do. He rented the bike to us AND shuttled my son for an hour on the downhill mountain bike slopes at Lake Leatherwood. He showed my son a cross county trail and came back to shuttle him back to town 1 1/2 hours later.
Two days later we showed up at his shop asking about a Kayak and paddle board rental and where to go. Denton shuttled us to Table Rock Lake and dropped us off with the gear. Two hours later he came back to pick us up. Denton, the owner of Adventure Mountain Outfitters literally made our trip to Eureka Springs fabulous. We were not familiar with the area and he totally took care of us!

My buddy and I ran into Denton totally by chance when we showed up to ride the trails at lake leatherwood. He was there with his shuttle rig and was waiting for some people (who ultimately never showed up) and gave us the scoop and let us grab a ride. $20 bucks for the day is the cheapest shuttle service I've ever encountered. His shop was closed the day we were there, but we'll definitely be coming through again next time we visit.
