We rented Surreys one day and then kayaks and SUPs the next day. Very well run and efficient operation. Really impressed that they were ready for us both days and we were set up and ready to go on our activities in record fast time. Friendly helpful professionals. Highly recommend!

My husband and I went on a 2 hour kayak trip. It was a first for both of us but we absolutely loved it. The employee who helped us was very nice and very welcoming. We saw sea otters and seals throughout our kayaking.

Beautiful location, great service, highly recommended!
We rented bikes and rode from Lover's Point on the trail through Monterey. Easy ride great views an ton's of sea lions at a beach just before the pier. We will be back!

We rented e-bikes from and went till Lone Cypress point. It was one of my best biking tours. Thank you Adventures by the sea for making beautiful memories that I am going to cherish forever.

The reason this rating is a three star is the staff. We were "helped" by an older man that worked there and he ruined the experience. He charged us for more than was advertised and was over all just grumpy. He also was very unclear with the forms we had to sign and made us go get our parents signature on the form twice after we showed him that we had our licenses and our own credit cards. An hour in total of delays and charged us for more than advertised. Not happy. Though I must end this by saying that the actual ride in the surrey that we over payed for was quite fun but the renting experience was not. If you are going to rent bikes/surreys go to the one above lovers point.

I rented an e-bike here. The bike had some issues and was generally underpowered compared to the other bikes my friends were riding. I was worried that the battery would not have enough charge for the whole day we planned so I kept the motor in the lower levels of assist. We rode out 17 mile drive and did over 20 miles and it was about 1/4 full when we got back. I saw a group from the other bike rental place, Mad Dogs and Englishmen, and their bikes looked much better. The attendant was helpful, but not cheery or friendly and allowed me to adjust my own seat. All in all I felt it was not a good value and I would not rent from these folks again.

My partner and I went kayaking from the Lover's Point location. The web reservation and payment process was easy, the check-in process quick, and the staff was friendly. A lovely way to spend a morning on Monterey Bay!
