Went out on a day fishing trip with Ryan for my husband and I. We had a cancellation and found ourselves needing to move up our original date booked with him and he was nothing but gracious and amazing. He came and picked us up from our hotel and brought us a little over an hour outside of Anchorage to go fly fishing. He took us out on a picturesque Alaskan fall day and was nothing but helpful and supportive. He had great tips for these new fishermen and was extremely knowledgeable. He let us know given the time of year what we could or could not expect and was real and honest with us. We may not have caught the most amount of fish, but the trip created memories we will cherish for a life time! If you ever find yourself in Anchorage looking for a great local guide, Ryan and his company are the way to go! Thanks again Ryan!!

Had a great day with Ryan! He is very knowledgeable and personable. When fishing in Alaska, I did not want to be elbow-to-elbow with other fishermen. Ryan took us to an isolated creek to fly fish. It was fabulous! He lost a full fly box while helping me net a fish and didn’t skip a beat. Sorry about that, Ryan.

I booked an 8 hr. Salmon Fishing excursion with Ryan. Picked us up at the hotel and drove north. We had the best time imaginable in my book. We caught fish and were not disappointed. Ryan is very k owlegdable and skilled in all facets of local sport fishing. When I return I plan to book another trip with him!

I would 100% recommend booking with this company! We booked a glacier hike & ice fishing for our group of 9. Ryan made sure we had EVERYTHING we needed and even picked us up directly from our airbnb. Ryan was very knowledgeable about the wildlife and our surroundings. Both days were truly once in a lifetime adventure days.

Our fly fishing trip today with Ryan and Tim was outstanding. There were 9 on this excursion and everyone caught fish. The entire experience went smoothly and was topped off by grilled salmon when we finished. I highly recommend you give them a call if you are looking for an excellent fishing experience. Ryan shared so much knowledge about salmon and many fun facts about Alaska. Thanks for the best first day in Alaska!

A Last-Minute, Unforgettable Birthday Adventure with Alaska Adventure Guides and Exceptional Support from Ryan - 5 Stars!

Recently, my wife and I embarked on a last-minute, 3-day adventure with Alaska Adventure Guides to celebrate her birthday. Despite the short notice, our incredible private guide, Ryan, ensured that we had a personalized and unforgettable experience. Their enthusiasm, knowledge, and passion for Alaska's great outdoors were truly remarkable.

Day 1: Ryan escorted us to SnowHook Dog Sledding, introduced us to the site guides and the amazing dogs, he helped capture fantastic photos and videos we could not have taken ourselves. My wife adored this activity, and the teams passion for these animals and how fun it was made it her favorite part of the trip.

Day 2: Ryan took us to the magnificent Matanuska Glacier and introduced us to the site guides. We were amazed by the otherworldly beauty of the glacier, and Ryan coupled with the local site teams knowledge made it all the more impressive. We even got to break in a trail that had not been done in over a month making it extra great.

Day 3: When our southern glacier tour was canceled due to a white out blizzard !, Ryan arranged an alternative adventure for us: exploring the stunning Spencer Glacier via snow machines. The team expertly led us through pristine snow-covered trails and frozen rivers by GPS and helped us capture unforgettable photos and videos during our snow machine ride. We even got to dig out a stuck snow machine.

Throughout the entire trip, Ryan's support and expertise were invaluable. They consistently introduced us to the site guides, stepped in to assist when necessary, and ensured our safety and enjoyment at every turn. Their help in capturing priceless photos and videos allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in each activity while still having beautiful memories to take home.

In conclusion, our last-minute birthday trip with Alaska Adventure Guides, and specifically with Ryan, exceeded all of our expectations. We cannot recommend Ryan and Alaska Adventure Guides highly enough for anyone looking to experience the beauty and excitement of Alaska's great outdoors. The very best trip ever! Beautiful views, amazing rivers, creeks, trees, terrain and Ryan knew what was over every hill or mountain! He was a perfect guide with his patience with all of us fishing, he shared exactly what to do to catch more fish- how to do it, and we had sooo many fish in one day!his attention to detail ans organization made it simply relaxing for us! He grilled it up beautifully and it was so yummy! We even stopped for ice, shipping coolers and a quick Java on the way back into town! He truly cared for the people, the land and everyone’s pleasure! We will be back! Ryan, you make Alaska a more amazing experience!

The tour was incredible! Ryan was such an amazing guide, he knew a lot about the mountains, lakes and was able to tell us very interesting facts to and from matanuska glacier. He had an amazing attitude throughout, which made the tour very enjoyable. He joined us on the glacier tour and took so many great pictures! Overall, I would highly recommend it.
