Thoroughly enjoyed our ice fishing tour with Jim. His set up is amazing. We were warm and dry inside his trailer. Caught a bunch of fish. He was very accommodating and obviously loves what he does. Highly recommend.

Jim was amazing. Knowledgeable, Friendly, Fun, and an Expert at catching fish. 🙂 My entire family had a great time and we all caught fish. Plus, Jim has what feels like a million tvs - with underwater cameras for you to see the fish before and after they grab your line. We had a great time - Thanks Jim you do a fantastic job.

I cannot recommend this experience enough! We truly had the time of our lives on this ice fishing experience. Jim is a very knowledgeable and friendly guide, who ensured we had the best trip possible. During our 6 hours fishing with Jim in the ice castle (which is as amazing as it sounds) we caught 100 fish! We were able to use an underwater camera to see the fish biting out bait on a large flatscreen tv, which made the experience that much more enjoyable. Jim additionally cooked two of our fish for a meal, which was very delicious and top tier for this kind of experience. If you are considering this trip, it is a must do and Jim is the best guide to go with. We will definitely be back in the future!

We really enjoyed the quiet property and the 2 cabins we rented. I first was drawn to the area because it is the North Pole but the owner Jim was a bonus. Such a professional and friendly guy who was more than ready to answer any questions and show you around the property. The cabins were clean and very comfortable. Our front porches had a view of the pond and it was beautiful especially in the morning. The shared bath and restroom facility was very clean. He has provided everything to make sure it was free of germs and you feel comfortable sharing.
Our refrigerator had juice, water, and Jimmy Dean Breakfast items to warm in the microwave.
Coffee maker, tv, office chairs, ceiling fans, heater, and everything you need for a great stay.
The highlight of our trip was Jim shared his ice fishing project...a tricked out rv that parks on the ice. You have to see it to believe it! Incredible. Thanks for making us feel at home!

The owners, Jim and Syd are incredibly kind and welcoming. We went with Jim for ice fishing and would highly recommend the experience! We’d never fished before but Jim was so patient with us and we caught more fish than we could eat. Jim also cooked the fish for us and it was so fresh and incredible! Also, we drove to a few popular places around Fairbanks to see the lights and didn’t have much success. When we finally called it and came back to the cabins, we saw them front and center shining right outside the cabins! Turns out we never even needed to leave our warm and cozy cabins in the first place.

Jim is amazing! The cabin itself is clean and cute. The shared bathroom is not too far from the cabin and they’re heated. Jim also took us out for ice fishing and help us cook them. It was the best part of our trip Alaska.

This was a spur of the moment trip my husband decided to do, from the onset Jim was nothing but kind and informative. We didn't realize we would need to start the car every few hrs since our rental didn't have a heater for the extreme cold, Jim thankfully told us, otherwise a disaster would've happened. LOL.. The cabin was clean, cozy and warm. The fridge was stocked with juice and water along with breakfast sandwiches in the freezer. The bathrooms were clean and had all the amenities you needed. Thanks to Jim for knocking on our door we got to see the "Lights" which was literally the absolute best!!!! The sky at night was so clear, you could make out all different constellations. Jim has all sorts of info for you in the cabin, from how to look for the lights, to where to order from on takeout. I would highly recommend this place and my only regret is that we couldn't stay longer.

The first thing great thing i noticed about this property was the great customer service. The owners messaged ahead of time to welcome me and make sure i was good to go. Check-in and checkout was easy. The cabin itself was nice and clean and had a porch outside that had a great view of the lake. All facilities were clean. I recommend this place as it was quiet, relaxing, and just a good place to get back into nature and away from technology.
