We had the best day out on the river! Highly recommend this trip to anyone looking for an amazing, leisurely adventure. The springs were so beautiful and we were able to see 9 on the 8 in 8 mile session. There are several turtles in the area. I was very impressed by the amount of wildlife we saw especially since it is the winter season. This excursion was very reasonably priced and included all the necessary equipment to have a safe, fun time. Our shuttle was timely and the driver was very knowledgeable about the area, engaging us in interesting conversation on our return trip. We will definitely do this trip again when we are in the area.

I had an amazing time - the staff was very friendly and assisted us from beginning to end. The shuttle showed up as we pulled into the dock which was amazing timing! Great conversation on the way back to our car. 100% would recommend and hope to use them again in the future, Thank you so much for making my first kayak adventure perfect!

The guys at Anderson's Outdoor Adventures were super amazing! Elijah and Jay took very good care of us. We rented 2 single kayaks and one of them had a slow leak in it but they TOTALLY made up for it! They gave us BOTH another full, free day of kayaking - the 8 mile float from Poe to 47 with drop off and pick up. Highly recommend! It's the most reasonable and most beautiful kayaking we could find in the area.

I did the 10 mile bridge to bridge kayak adventure. It was absolutely gorgeous. I went in September and the weather was perfect, the water so peaceful. Just a perfect morning. The whole thing took me about 3 hours but I there we more springs and such to explore that would have added some time along the way. AOA was very kind, helpful, and accommodating, and the whole thing was so easy!

Do not let them rent you this cart. The front end is completely shot. It bottoms out with more than two people riding. Doesn’t shift into forward or reverse normally. Have to mess with the key on and off and a few minutes later it works. Almost $300 for the weekend for this pile of crap. Was expecting just a normal golf cart not a lifted monstrosity with led lights that absolutely blinds everyone in its path. Reached out to the gentleman I was in contact with during delivery. No response.

We did the 10 mile bridge to bridge Kayak trip. It was raining but that did not cause any problems, it actually made for a cooler relaxing trip. Great tips from Tim the driver/guide. Stopped at Gilchrist for our lunch and a beautiful swim in the clear blue spring. Trip was easy in terms of ability. Saw turtles, native birds, and tons of fish along with the beautiful landscape. Finished in about 4ish hours. Would highly recommend!

Really enjoyed the trip on the river. It was easy to book and with county and state parks along the way we had options for picnics and restrooms.

We enjoyed several springs that we were told about and provided the rules and such for any of the parks we were interested in visiting.

The staff was ready for us, prompt, polite and friendly.

It is a beautiful river to be on, the springs are incredible and to only need to show up, bring our own things for snacking and such for the day and climb in the boat, what a nice way to enjoy a day.

We had the river and several springs to ourselves most of the day. Passing by Ginnie Springs there were more people out on tubes as we expected, it is a big draw to that campground. Once past G.S. it was again a very quiet river with one or two other kayaks on the water with us.

We were able see alligators, many birds and the turtles were out in large numbers. The fish were jumping, and the water was crystal clear at the springs and clear enough in the majority of the river to always see bottom. A treat for anyone that enjoys that type of atmosphere.

At the end of our paddling, we came to the end park and were greeted with staff waiting for us who promptly ushered us into the really nice clean vans. The A/C felt really good and we relaxed while our rental boat was loaded up and put on a trailer. Within a few minutes we were back to the start point where our car was waiting. On the way back we were able to talk with our driver and pick up man who answered all our questions about the area and gave us some tips on things we were considering doing over the next week.

I have used many canoe / kayak rental places, and these were the best vehicles I have ever traveled in. The staff was really nice, the equipment all in great shape and we will absolutely return to do this very same trip again.

We did a self-guided trip this past weekend for my birthday and it was wonderful! We kayaked on a tandem sit on top kayak and had the best time. We saw lots of fish and turtles, the water was absolutely beautiful and the springs were awesome! We saw at least 9 springs on our trip and only avoided Ginnie Springs due to the amount of people there and the trouble recently. Only thing I would ask is maybe a map with the springs noted for visitors who are not familiar with them. We will be back for sure!
