I could not recommend Anita Dee Charters enough. We had a welcome drinks event the day before our wedding, and everything was fantastic! Starting with John B in sales, Courtney (the MVP), and our Captain John made the entire process smooth and enjoyable. They communicated well and delivered beyond our expectations. Our guests still rave about that night. They were truly the easiest people to work with!

We had the BEST time with the Anita Dee I crew in early June. It was our organization’s first event of this type and the team at Anita Dee hit it out of the park for us. From first contact for a quote, Marc was incredibly helpful in making suggestions and we really appreciated his honesty and expertise with all the unknowns of planning this event. After the contract was signed, our Anita Dee event coordinator, Courtney, was instrumental in setting everything up for us and answering all our questions. The premium bar package was perfect for our group, and included some quality top shelf options. The bartenders were also fantastic - quick, even when the line was long at the start, it wasn’t long for too much time! The crew from the moment we arrived at the boat were super helpful with coordinating loading our DJ and food items. Overall, my group is so impressed with Anita Dee and we will be back for our 2025 event!

Definitely recommend. The wait is not so bad the workers are fast with the boarding. The bar service is really good as long with the drinks. Food is definitely good too. It’s also fun and very clean on there and it very spacious. The workers were very accommodating. The crew and staff were all very friendly. The dj played a variety of music for everyone’s taste. Would definitely recommend and return for myself.

I recently had the pleasure of finally being able to board and party on the Anita Dee! The atmosphere was amazing, the staff is very friendly and warming. Very clean. Drinks were great. Will definitely be back!

Review update 3/17/25:
After working with Anita Dee and the Chicago Cruise Events Company, I’m happy to report that I received a refund for the experience I had on Saturday during the St Paddy’s Day river dyeing. Both Anita Dee and the Chicago Cruise Events Company have been very proactive and hardworking after the initial management company of 312cruises dropped the ball, which I and my group of friends appreciate.

I’ve now been on 4 boat rides on Anita Dee I and II and it’s been a great experience twice (a 4th of July fireworks cruise and St Paddy’s 2023). The last two times - St Paddy’s 2024 and 2025 - were tough due to boat issues and not being able to enter the river as expected. These past two years we had to wait at the dock outside of the river while they worked to fix the boat and then only went out for about 10 minutes at the end of our timeslot. We did not receive any refunds or follow up after the issues in 2024 but chose to return in 2025 given the good experience in 2023. I understand things happen unexpectedly but going forward it would be nice to have the boat inspected before the 9am cruise so we can be part of the action on the biggest river boating day of the year.

Once again, thank you to Anita Dee and Chicago Cruise Events for the quick refunds and lots of communication. I definitely won’t use 312cruises in the future and am yet unsure if I’ll choose this boat again but they do sound like they want to make some changes so this doesn’t happen again.

I truly enjoyed this experience! definitely one of a kind. Everything was perfect i can’t really say what went wrong because nothing did. The vibe was amazing, the view was beautiful, the drinks were fire! Such a great experience!
