My family's experience at Aperion Care has been nothing short of amazing. The staff is incredibly kind, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure my mom feels comfortable and cared for. The nurses are compassionate, professional, and truly dedicated to their work. Every time I visit with my mom I'm greeted with a warm smile, which makes the atmosphere feel welcoming and like home. The activities they provide for my mom are engaging and enjoyable, ensuring that there is always something fun to do. I highly recommend Aperion Care to anyone looking for a facility that prioritizes both excellent care and a positive environment!

This review is for agency workers.
This facility — staff and administration does not appreciate agency. They are short staffed more times than not. To them, agency is the blame for everything, and they will talk about you to others, in your face. Their staff will violate you and management will back them when made aware or reported. They do not follow through with any concern you have and will give you an assignment with very little report, if any. They have hired on two previous agency workers who take pride in harassing, provoking, and getting other agency workers DNR’d. The entire management is forever changing yet always unprofessional, rude, disrespectful, and lazy especially the medical records director and scheduler. They are shady. There was an incident where my privacy was violated, it was reported in writing…somehow they did not have it, they would not tell me the name of the guy, and they could not show me the same policy I have to follow “because I am not an employee”.

This facility always has a covid or scabies outbreak. There is an odor. It is grimy, unclean, and cluttered. This place is just as much a home to flies and other insects as to the residents. I would not bring any personal belongings in. Not a bag or coat and certainly not a meal. I would not place any of my family here.

They are always hiring and offering jobs. However, I would not recommend nor accept any permanent position here. The only almost positive thing about Aperion Care Wilmington is shift availability and pay rate which is still not worth it. I would not recommend any travel worker to frequent this facility unless necessary. You must be knowledgeable of rules and regulations to protect your license when working here.

I have worked here for over 2 years and I absolutely LOVE the staff and the residents. From day one the staff was very welcoming and helpful with anything I needed and made me feel like part of the team right away. I enjoy working with all the residents as well. Highly recommend this company!!

Wilmington has one of the best garden units for dementia patients! With its secured unit there is no worry of patients wandering outside. The staff are skilled in giving quality and meaningful care to each resident.

Aperion Care Wilmington provides various levels of care for patients who need physical and mental healing. There is always a fun activity planned for residents and staff even join in on the fun! Staff is always working to improve and provide a top quality level of care for residents.

I would recommend, starting from how nice the administration was, very friendly and helpful. My father was there for rehab. They worked with him on strengthening his legs, occupational therapy. He came home so much stronger than he’s been.
