Overall the room was good. Bed was comfortable & room darkening shades were appreciated. The negatives were toilet paper holder way too far from the toilet for those older ladies with short arms. Also a second trash container in the room, besides just the bathroom, would be a great benefit. The last negative and the biggest one I have is the quality of food served at breakfast was equivalent to those served as a complimentary at other hotels. Paying $10.99 for typical hotel scrambled eggs, no choice for fried or omelets and no pancakes or waffles as an option was very surprising.

The hotel was clean and has been remodeled. The hard wood floors in the rooms were nice but the furniture needs to be updated or replaced. The entire staff was courteous especially the cleaning staff. The breakfast was good and had adequate food choices.

The rooms were great, clean, good size. The staff was beyond helpful. We had the free breakfast which had items that I have never seen before, all delicious!

Good hotel, restaurant, bar and staff. I have stayed at this location five times in 2024, and each time was a good overall experience. Food from restaurant is better the most, the steaks are great, bar drinks are good. Morning breakfast is usually good, but this past Tuesday, 5-21-24, not so much. Cold eggs, bacon and grits were very clumpy. The reason for the 4 star instead of 5 is due to rudeness of Amanda in the Bar area. Amanda needs to lear how to approach and not demand you with a loud voice sign the book, and no need to take your finger and point hard at book.

This was one of the nicest check in experiences I have ever had - the next morning, I noticed how spotlessly clean the lobby and breakfast area was kept.. It smelled good, staff was friendly. Great place to stay!

Both of our stays at the Convention Center were wonderful. The room was clean and well maintained. The lounge and restaurant service were outstanding. When travelling through Texas we always route out trip to stay with them. It's a refreshing break from long days driving,
