I had the most amazing group hike with Niko around Pisgah Forest and waterfalls! He was super knowledgeable about the forest, the plants, the history and geology, you could tell how passionate he is about the land! The snacks were on point, and we got to explore an even longer 6 mile trail. Truly a very special experience, and would highly recommend for anyone visiting Asheville to learn more about the surrounding hikes and area from a local guide! ✨

What a great experience! We hiked waterfalls with Chaney, he was a great guide shared lots of great information plus took us to some out of the way falls.
He took time to ask us what we were most interested in doing before we went on the hike and checked in with us to make sure you were comfortable with where we were hiking. Would do this again

What an amazing experience! The hiking tour with Ian as our guide has been the highlight of our Asheville family vacation. We chose to do a private guided tour and it was truly well worth it. Ian answered all of our many questions and took the time to point out not only the different plants and fungi along the route, but also talked about local folklore, animal life and we even happened up 2 snake species, 2 salamanders and 2 incredible waterfalls. We highly recommend this guided tour and request Ian!

This tour was one of the highlights of my trip. That everything was planned and taken care really made the outing pleasurable. There was ample free parking where we met. 13 people had signed up for the tour. Our group was divided into 2 groups. Our guide was Ian. We drove in a comfortable van up the Blue Ridge Parkway. This in itself was a real treat, as I hadn't gotten there yet on this trip. We were out on one really spectacular spring day and could see for miles. Ian pulled over at scenic overlooks several times, and allowed us to get out to enjoy the view and take photos. We left the parkway to enter the Pisgah Forest. Here I was glad it was Ian driving and not us. The roads were twisting, narrow and rugged, but he knew them well and drove safely. As we were driving, he would point out places of interest and shared some interesting facts about the area. On this tour we got to see at least 3 waterfalls, and all were an easy hike, nothing rugged. Once again, while walking, Ian told us about some of the plants and animals that live in Pisgah Forest. We got to see some of the mountain's more unique plants like Mayapples, Dwarf Orchids and Trillium, or bashful Lilies. There was a snack/lunch break and bathroom stops, like I said everything was planned perfectly.

My friends and I booked this hike as a part of our 40th birthday vacation in Asheville. We weren't sure what to expect, but we were so happy with the outcome. Our guide, Shuler, was so knowledgable of the area. The hike wasn't too strenuous, but it did feel like an accomplishment finishing it. Shuler made sure that all of us were ok and felt comfortable with each part of the trip. She took care of us, and went beyond my expectations. We learned so much about the wildlife and the plants in the area. She was kind and took so many wonderful photos for us. The area itself is so beautiful and this was a wonderful way to take in the sights if you are visiting the area. If you can request Shuler, she was amazing! I will definitely be doing another hike with her the next time we come, and we will be back!

I cannot rave enough about this company or our tour guide, Tiffany. The waterfalls tour was the highlight of our trip. I am scared of heights and my mother in law has mobility problems and Tiffany was so sweet to accommodate us and all of our requests. She was also amazingly knowledgeable and just fit right in with our family. I was very hesitant when I booked this tour and almost canceled several times, but I am so happy that we went, made core life memories, and enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. This wouldn't have been possible without Tiffany. There aren't enough words to describe how thankful we are.
