We had an outstanding time at Aurora Camp. We went twice. The first time, there was too much cloud cover so we did not see the northern lights. But the second time! Oh my! By being patient, we were successful and saw the northern lights. It was well worth the wait!

David and Joy were wonderful hosts the cabin was warm! You could see the lights from inside the cabin and outside. Joy and David provided us with lots of snacks, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, etc. I highly recommend doing the Aurora Camp tour!

We had booked this trip for later in the week, but when we saw there were clear skies and a moderate solar activity, we decided to go for it and I am glad we did. We drove up to the Cabin after 10 pm. the cabin is warm and accommodating with lots of chairs and tables and sofas. David and Joy are very helpful, with parking and walking to the cabin, as well as with camera settings for photo set up.

We were treated to such a wonderful aurora viewing. It was like a search light across the sky. There was a large field next to the cabin for viewing and we could see the colors with our own eyes. We took tons of photos as the aurora changed and moved.

David and Joy took wonderful pictures of everyone in front of the aurora and air dropped them to us before the night was over. David also shared other photos that he took. It was such a treat!

We watched for close to 3 hours as the aurora moved to different shapes and places in the sky. It was really a wonderful experience.

In the cabin, there are all kinds of snacks and drinks. Coffee, Tea, Hot chocolate, along with cups of ramen and they also made some frozen pizza. If there aren't auroras to see the whole time, they have lots of games and things to keep you occupied. The best thing is you could go inside if you got cold or had to use the restroom.

It was a wonderful experience.

We made the best decision to choose Aurora Camp as our Aurora watching experience. The hosts were exceptional! They were very kind and very generous. The cabin was cozy and comfortable, many snacks, warm beverages, board games and karaoke. We had so much fun waiting for the dancing lights and when they finally showed up, they took a beautiful picture of our family. Will definitely come back and VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

We were a few early customers of this new aurora camp, feel lucky that it was overall a very pleasant experience. The indoor was warm and cozy, staff were friendly and knowledgeable on aurora. The outdoor was nicely decorated and dimly lit, good for photo taking. Also, the location is on a hilltop that increases the chance of seeing the aurora.
