This was a secluded casino far from the city, and I love it. The rooms were clean and look perfect. The casino was small, but it was nice. The beach was the best part, and I loved looking at the sky full of stars, and the moon was awesome.

The bad part was that the person at the counter refused to upgrade my room with a view to the river or the pool. I was willing to pay whatever it was needed. She claimed all those rooms were sold out, but it was a lie because the hotel was almost empty

However, the girl that check me out was great caring and with a superb attitude.

The resort is beautiful but the room was not clean. The hot tub is cold. The football games on the tv freeze. The rooms are spacious. No coffee in the room. No pool service. No chairs on the beach. They don't have a listing of movies being played at the theater.

This was my second time staying here & we enjoyed it just like last time. The pool is perfect for my 3 year old she had a blast in the toddler pool (2 feet ) deep, the slide was perfect as well not to fast for the little ones. The beach area was perfect as well. The rentals for the huts not expensive at all and you can set up early n come back n forth great for the family to enjoy both sides at once. Food court great had to get an ice cream every night. Movie theater was nice as well as arcade. Keeping my card for next visit.

If you're looking for a slower pace, something off the beaten path, then the Avi is a good choice. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are very nice. The deal breaker for me, though, is that this place still allows smoking. No thank you. I won't be back. ... Oh yeah, the pool is pretty nice too, and I love the birds! So yeah, If cigarette smoke doesn't bother you too much, then the Avi is pretty nice.

I have loved coming to the Avi for many years.
It is truly my favorite place to go hands down I never go anywhere else even if I had the chance. This time we stayed in one of the upgraded suites and were not disappointed at all. We spent a lot of time in our room and it was comfortable. Without a doubt. We'll come back time and time again. Never want to leave even cried a little.

Staff is very friendly, got a great deal online. Looks good. Our room had stained carpets, beds were comfortable. Could use a little tlc, ac unit vent was dirty. Would stay again. Right on river. Nice pool area. Sits by itself but has restaurants and movie theater.

I would have given this place a 5 star if it wasn't for staff. Avi, I love that its a family oriented stay. Loved the acces to a private river front, love your pool. The bedroom was nice and the view gorgeous. The shower handle needs fixing. It was hard to shut the water and the dripping was annoying. I loved the food court choices. Your Cafe was amazing. Only problem was the staff, not friendly or welcoming at all. It was my fist time at Avi and went to get a players card. The older lady at the counter made me feel like I was bothering her rather than welcoming a new customer. Pool security not friendly. Food court kids not friendly, lack customer service. Only our waiter was friendly and attentive at the Cafe. I wish I would have remembered her name. Other than that my husband and I had a great 10yr Anniversary. We will be returning with our children.

Stopped for 2 nights in August, arrived early but a room was available for check in which was nice. The room though spacious and modern was not clean, the dust on the bedside tables and headboards, i didn't dare put the lights on as it was thick with dust. Also the bathroom had hairs in clumps in the corners of the floor.|The resort itself was nice, the pool was great, our son had great fun messing about in the pool and using the slides. However if the 2nd pool is meant to be adults only, it definitely isn't, it was full of kids. The food and drink prices by the pool were extortionate, and the searching of bags when entering the pool was a bit over the top.|The beach wasn't the nicest, the hotel could provide some loungers or chairs on there? |The fast food options in the hotel were good, and were never too crowded, also quite reasonably priced with friendly, helpful staff. The arcade was fun and the cinema looked nice.|The casino was good, though I've never known anywhere where you can't drink your own drink at the machine? We do in Vegas and in other hotels in Laughlin.|Nowhere outside or inside to sit at night to enjoy a drink with our teenage son with us, as he wasn't allowed in any bar areas. The hotel could put some nice seating outside on the grass infront of the beach area so people could sit there in a evening.|A nice resort but has some areas for improvement.
