Our very recent stay at Bamboo Apartments was just an amazing two weeks. I cannot say enough about this hidden piece of paradise!|Our cottage was one of the first two ready for occupancy after hurricane Helene and closest to the beach, although all the units are just RIGHT THERE! and the complex is just at ground level-no steps, no streets to cross, just beautiful tall trees, as you make your way the few steps across the sand to the beach and the beautiful blue ocean.|A lot of the natural, tropical landscaping did suffer somewhat in the storm, but Mother Nature will prevail, and our host, Alice Sutton, and her crew are doing lots of replanting around the cute walkways and patios between each unit. For now we enjoyed a wonderful ocean view from our screened porch (a perfect spot for your early morning coffee). Evenings found us sitting on the little rise in front just above the beach, enjoying incredible sunsets; and if you choose to occasionally hide from the sun, the many tall trees on the property provide shady areas where you can enjoy your book or a little nap. Alice was wonderful, always seeing to our needs. She and her crew are working hard these final few days of rehabbing on all the units, and it looks just great! The complex is small with such an "Old Florida" feel and charm about it. Exactly what we were looking for--privacy, close to the beach, personal touches, a nice laundry room on site, and you have your own patio set and charcoal grill!||Our cottage was spotlessly clean, and this is a pretty big deal to me. It's very warm and cozy. Everything you would need is in the kitchenette, a very clean bath and bedroom, king-size bed (good mattress!) plenty of linens and all things you need for the beach – – chairs, umbrella, beach towels, cooler, and an outdoor shower for rinsing off.|The location is perfect. Publix and CVS and a small strip mall are only three blocks away and very walkable, and Skinny's, a fun local burger joint, is just across the street. But lots of trees and vegetation muffle street sounds and it is very quiet at night. And all three beach towns on Anna Maria Island are just chock full of fun shops and wonderful places to eat. |*You must try the Waterfront, the Ugly Grouper, Ginny & Jane E's, and Two Scoops for ice cream!||Thank you, Alice, we enjoyed ourselves so much for an amazing two weeks. One can see all the love and dedication you put into this very special family property. my best friend and i try to visit anna maria each year but for one reason or another, the last 2 years we went somewhere else. duh. we came back to bamboo apartments cottage #2 this year and remembered why its our favorite! it such a bit of paradise. the beach in our backyard, walk or bike nearly everywhere whats not to love! Alice is such a great host and the place is aways quite comfy.

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at Cottage #1 at Bamboo Apartments, and it was a delightful experience that transported us back to "old Florida" while still enjoying all the comforts of today. The cottage, over a century old, exuded charm with its vintage vibe yet had all the modern amenities we needed for a comfortable stay.

We particularly loved the outdoor patios, perfect for relaxing evenings, and the charcoal grill which became our go-to for many dinners. Inside, the apartment-sized oven was handy for cooking, and the on-site laundry, complete with an old-fashioned clothesline, added to the nostalgic atmosphere while being incredibly useful.

Cleanliness and comfort were top-notch, and the location couldn't be better, right at the entrance to the beach. Alice, the owner, was exceptionally friendly and responsive, promptly addressing any queries we had and ensuring that our time on Anna Maria Island was truly memorable.

Overall, Cottage #1 provided us with a unique blend of history, comfort, and seaside charm—a perfect getaway that we'll fondly remember.

We had such a wonderful time at Bamboo Apartments. We stayed at apartment 2. It was perfect for our family of 4 (2 kids: 5 and 1.5). The location was perfect. Right on the beach and near two nice places to eat - cafe and burger place. Plus ice cream shop by the cafe. Made it easy with kids to get meals and go back and forth to the beach for naps or forgotten items. The apartment was very clean. The owners were so nice and helpful. The outdoor patio was very nice to have. There were no negatives at all. We loved our stay- thank you very much!

Discover the perfect getaway on Anna Maria Island. Beautifully maintained apartments. Enjoy the added convenience of your own dedicated parking spot. Very close to the Golf Beach (Less than a minute walking distance. 9 minutes walking distance to grocery.

If you are looking for a place to relax and get away from a busy world, Bamboo Apartments is for you! Enjoy the ocean breeze on a lounge chair under a shady tree, or play on the sunny beach. We loved that you don’t need to drive or cross a street to get to the beach and private patios! Easy walk to the grocery store and shops. We stayed in Cottage 2 and enjoyed coffee in the morning on our screen porch. The Cottage was immaculately clean and had everything we needed for a lovely stay, and we were delighted by the personalized welcome basket. Alice is a wonderful host, we’ve stayed at Bamboo before, and are hoping to come back next year with friends!

We had an absolutely perfect time at Bamboo Apartments. The apartment was very clean and well maintained with great decor. Sparkling clean, inside and outside everything looks like new. Inside of the apartment we had everything for comfortable living: cockware, dishes and full equiped kitchen. There is all the stuff for the beach like beach chairs, umbrella, cooler, towels. Big and very comfortable bed. The beautiful beach with soft white sand is right away, behind the door. It is possible to organize the barbeque; every apartment has private barbecue spot with everything that is necessary. The nature around is just amazing. Very close to Publix store and all restaurants - 5 min walk.|I would like to say to the owner of Bamboo Apartments Alice - Thank you for keeping this gorgeous place very clean and in the great shape! It was so beautiful to find out our personal wellcome sign on the entrance and wellcome basket inside!|We had a fantastic vacation filled with joy and relaxation in Bamboo Apartments!|Thank you!

My husband and I stayed in Apt. 4, it was truly the best!! There is a great shaded porch in the front for morning coffee and afternoon drinks or meals. The beach is literally 50 steps from the Apartment!! The kitchen is well equipped with all dishes, utensils, pans, bowls etc. There are plenty of fluffy bath towels and beach towels. The bed is comfortable and a King. The A/C worked great. There are 2 beach chairs and an umbrella for guests use, which was really great, just an FYI, the beach chairs might not make it through the rest of the season, I'm sure the salt air and all the use they get are hard on them. It was just perfect for the 2 of us - it was Paradise!!!
