We stayed here over the summer and have been meaning to leave a review since then. Our stay was very enjoyable and Denise and Mike were amazing hosts. It is a beautiful historic building that has been lovingly and tastefully restored. The accommodations were comfortable and nicely decorated and our hosts went out of their way to make an amazing breakfast that accommodated special requests. It was a joy to sit in the kitchen with Denise and Mike while we had breakfast and learn about the area. The outside garden is also a great feature and a special place to sit and relax. We would highly recommend staying here.

Owner Mike was awesome, very attentive, warm and inviting atmosphere! The pool was kept very clean and was an added touch of relaxation which was a nice change if you didn't want to go to the beach! THE Room was beautiful and exceptionally clean. Breakfast was delicious and we felt welcomed immediately. Definitely would stay again. Highly recommend!

Delightful Accommodation and Delicious Breakfast were the components of my stay at the Bank House Bed and Breakfast in Milford, Delaware.
I have visited Milford three times in 2018 and 2019 and stayed there all three times. The house is a treasure trove of antique furniture and decorations either collected by the previous owner or left by prior occupants. Including photographs, which add to the sense of history. Add in a small pool (just right for cooling off on a hot summer day) located in the well maintained garden. In the mornings I sat out in the garden with my tea and relaxed before breakfast was served. Breakfast was delicious and cooked by host Mike and Hostess Denise with care. I am a vegetarian and they were very accommodating of that. I really enjoyed my time there and will return in the future.

Check out this bedroom I got to sleep in!!!! The Bank House is an historic building in Delaware with a treasure trove of artifacts and old books lining the walls dating back to the colonial era and beyond. Super cute rooms with authentic furnishings totally brings you back to a bygone era.||||The building itself dates to the 1850’s and it has been gorgeously restored with touches like working oil lanterns preserved. I came in from Jersey, it was tremendously easy to find and there's free parking for as long as you need right nearby. Lots of little local shops are in waking distance, and the beach is a pretty short drive down the highway. Denise and Mike made me feel like family, and they're happy to offer recommendations to anything you are looking. Mike makes a really solid breakfast too.||||One of the best BnB experiences I have ever had, and I travel quite a lot.

I have stayed at the Bank House twice. My partner and I love it there and he says it is the most romantic place we have ever stayed. Denise and Mike are wonderful hosts and the house is beyond stunning. We did not bring our swimsuit to be in the pool....next time. We will definitely be back. Milford is charming, close to the beaches, and I highly recommend stopping by Brimming Horn Meadery!

So worth it! Lovely historic home with tons of character. Nice place to have a quiet relaxing time. Cleanliness was amazing! Mike is a fabulous cook—the French toast is to die for. Say no to the chains and yes to comfort, luxury and a wonderful stay.

Bank House B&B is absolutely exquisite! Denise and Mike are incredible hosts, as well as excellent chefs! The home is a stunning historical landmark and full of amazing antiques and books, books, books. The pool and grounds are intimate and lovely. I can't wait to stay again!

Stayed here in October and were blown away! The home has been impeccably restored and is beautifully furnished. Our host Mike was a delight and it felt as if we’d known him for years. Wonderful breakfast too!
