We have been staying at this beautiful B&B for almost 15 years. It’s truly a class act. The rooms are beautiful, clean and comfortable. The history presentation and gourmet breakfast elevate the overall experience. Florence and JD are so personable, and strive to make your stay special and memorable. |For many years, we were thrilled to be able to have our sweet lab, Sophie, join us. We appreciated the number of responsible pet owners we met at the B&B over the years who were so grateful to have this opportunity. Like us, they brought dogs who were able to travel and acclimate easily to the environment, without disrupting other guests. Just a note to the people who see that this B&B is pet friendly… please make sure that your dog is comfortable traveling and staying in your room without any problems. The majority of B&Bs do not permit dogs, and that’s unfortunate for those of us who are very responsible pet owners. Peaceful, secluded location minutes from the battlefield. Excellent staff and service. Charming, rustic decor. Breakfasts were delicious and the morning history presentations were educational. A wonderful experience overall. We stayed in Graham's Artillery Room in the original building built in 1809, the birth year of Abraham Lincoln.

Had an amazing first time staying here. Exceptional service from the moment we booked until we checked out. Beautiful room and breakfast each morning was delicious. We came for the murder mystery event and Connie was an amazing host! Close to all the historic sites of Gettysburg and they also started each morning with a historic presentation which was wonderful. Highly recommend and we will be back!

What a wonderful experience in last 4 days! The room was very comfortable, the staffs were super friendly and food was delicious. Even though it was off-season, but I enjoyed every moment during my stay. National Military part is just 2 minutes away, or you can walk along trail in their property. I've also spent a lot of time reading in the cozy couch next to a fireplace. Most importantly, it is dog-friendly without extra charge, plus there is a good size dog park! I will definitely come back. Do you need to take things off your mind ? This is the perfect place for you!

We attended a VERY fun, Masquerade Mystery Party at the B&B. It was ALOT of fun and was put together with so much thoughtfulness! I appreciated all the details. In addition, every morning, a historian came to teach us about Gettysburg. I will admit, I must have been sleeping in history class back in the day....and this weekend capsulized Gettysburg in a very personalized way that touched me with great sadness. Our room was wonderful! The pillows and bedding very comfy. I would highly recommend others to stay here and feel as welcomed as we did. Thank you very much for our wonderful stay!

Cozy and comfortable meets historical design and significance at this beautiful Bed and Breakfast. The staff is welcoming even before your arrival with helpful emails and touring suggestions. Warm cookies await you and all dietary needs are thoughtfully cared for. Following optional history lectures at 8:00 AM, note: Steve was especially informative and interesting, delicious and plentiful breakfasts are served. Evening charcuterie boards are filled with charming delicacies. Connie, JD and Sally are gracious and caring. Any request is met with a quick and attentive response. This weekend featured a Murder Mystery- and what fun we had! This was my second visit and for sure it will not be my last.

Normally we prefer to stay in walking distance of resteraunts and attractions, but we choose this inn instead. I am so, so happy that we did. ||Staying at the Battlefield Bed and Breakfast was unique and allowed us to have a better appreciation of the history. First, we stayed in General Merrit's suite. Then, each morning we enjoyed the history lecture. We all learned someting. My 13 year old son who tends to prefer playing sports and video games was even sincerely interested. ||Granted, downtown Gettysburg is lovely, but there is a tourist feel and the peaceful country vibe felt a more appropriate match. And, the inn is a very short and completely stress-free drive away -- so you get the best of both.||Last but not least, the staff could not have been more attentive and welcoming. We all loved it!

Our stay at Battlefield Bed and Breakfast was absolutely wonderful! The inn is incredibly dog-friendly, and the innkeepers were so warm and welcoming. The scenic grounds, complete with friendly horses and cats, were a joy to explore. Our room was charming and comfortable, and breakfast was absolutely delicious with carrot cake, maple baked pears, an omelet, and potatoes.

A surprising and delightful touch was having a historian present on Gettysburg after breakfast—it was fascinating and added so much to the experience. We also loved relaxing in the cozy common spaces, enjoying games like chess, fresh-baked cookies, and the always-available coffee and tea. The combination of stunning surroundings, thoughtful amenities, and exceptional hospitality made this a truly memorable getaway. We can’t wait to visit again!
