DON’T STAY HERE!! Maybe after they finish renovating but now: elevator doesn’t work, the rooms are missing furniture - such as a chair - no way would we use the shower as it is, there isn’t even a guide to what is on the TV.

On the other hand, the staff were all friendly and helpful.

Started off GREAT. I've been having back issues and I just wanted to find a hotel with a hot tub/jacuzzi. So I /we reserved a Jacuzzi suite. Arrived after 8pm. The staff/manager at the front desk was very helpful. She let us know that there were staffing issues and that any possible maintenance issues would have to be reported in the morning. She also mentioned that she no longer offered jacuzzi suites and that she wasn't sure how I was able to reserve one. As a paying customer this was slightly confusing because I have NOTHING to do with the information that is online. If I see something available I was under the assumption that it's "available". After a few hours in room, I used the bathroom. Upon flushing the toilet BLACK WATER (water from the toilet is considered as such. This is common knowledge!) ran at a VERY RAPID PACE from beneath the toilet. Not the pipes, or the bowl itself, but from underneath the toilet (where it was installed). Just as a reminder... I was told by the "MANAGER" that ANY maintenance issues would have to wait until the morning. After the incident with the toilet. I went right to sleep. Had an EXTREMELY difficult day and just needed some rest. I didn't feel comfortable showering, using the toilet, or getting into the hot tub/jacuzzi, so I didn't. Another reminder... The entire purpose of the visit was the jacuzzi suite they have ONLINE. The next morning as you can imagine, I decided to check out early. The individual who I encountered at the front desk initially apologized. She said she would refund my 2nd night. Which I TRULY APPRECIATE. But when I informed her if the BLACK SEWAGE WATER, she shrugged her shoulders. When I even POLITELY MENTIONED getting back possible compensation for my 1st night, she shrugged her shoulders again and said I should have called maintenance. When I mentioned that the "manager" that I encountered the night before said ALL MAINTENANCE ISSUES WOULD HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL THE MORNING, she shrugged her shoulders again. I even gave her the name of the "Manager" I spoke to the previous night and explained what the "Manager" said about maintenance issues. Just curious, how I'm supposed to report an issue to NO ONE... I went to far as to give the managers name, another employees name, and the excuse as was given as to why there was NO MAINTENANCE STAFF (someone was sick, someone else left early). I asked the staff how I could possibly know all of this information if it wasn't genuine. All I got was ANOTHER SHOULDER SHRUG. I asked would I have better results calling Best Western Corporate and I got ANOTHER SHOULDER SHRUG... Smh... Had no care/empathy for a PAYING CUSTOMER. If you value cleanliness, transparency, and GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE please avoid this hotel/facility at ALL COST!!!

Im a diamond member. Decent hotel. But way to many complications with simple stuff offered to members. Management has to many picky things they shouldn't treat members with. Also had to call in about my deposit because they charged me like a charge instead of regular hold and want to charge all these add on fees for little stuff about hotel. People don't have time for nonsense and making things hard when they come to best western. It should be easy and smooth for Members coming in and after I leave. I shouldn't have to call about my deposit.

The elevator was out, down for repairs. We had to lug bags up three flights. Upon entering the room, the smoke alarm was beeping. I went to call the front desk to ask for a replacement battery, but the phone didn't work. I just removed the battery and hoped the room didn't catch fire while we were there. The breakfast the first morning was acceptable, not good, but acceptable. The next day it was horrible. The bacon was disgusting and not worth eating. This was the first time in my life I threw away bacon! The scrambled eggs turned cold before you even get to the table, and the automated pancake maker turned out non-fluffy excuses for a pancake. The dining room manager announced breakfast was over at 9:00 am, even though the sign said it was open until 9:30. A late arriving guest pointed out the sign and the manager begrudgingly allowed this couple in. The second this couple got their food, the manager turned off the lights and shut down the room.| I stay at this hotel several times a year, but I may have to think of alterative lodgings. It's just been going downhill these past few years.

I was first given a room that was already messy, the toilet couldn't be flushed and after I complained they replaced me with another room. I thought everything was fine, but when I wanted to take a shower in the morning the water wouldn't turn on. It was really disappointing and their service was not very friendly.I hope the hotel will improve its facilities and services.

This is my go to spot, I very rarely have any issues but if I do the manager Virginia is on top of it immediately, she always goes above and beyond to make sure things are to my satisfaction, even with the breakfast in the morning. Ernest and Tracy also make me feel at home when I'm there,

Do Not Stay here. You have been warned. Clogged bathtub, Unclean floors, dirty and sticky furniture, stained bathrooms and the elevator doesn't work.
Made 3 requests to the staff to unclog the bathtub. Absolutely NO ACTION was taken.

Alright, so I'm writing this review with the understanding that this is a budget hotel. So obviously it doesn't have the amenities of other hotels, nevertheless here is my review.
The staff was very helpful during my stay. They were friendly and took time to address my concerns. For example, I realized my fridge wasn't staying closed so when I told the ladies at the desk, maintenance came up and fixed the sealing around the fridge within minutes. The room was ready and clean when I arrived. Check in and check out was quick and easy. Water pressure in the shower was good and the heat in the room worked well.

Areas of improvement:
- Breakfast selection could be better. A better variety of yogurts and muffins as well as having hot chocolate mix would be nice.
- The toilets are far too low! It's time to elevate the toilets so people aren't squatting so low.
- The showers don't have plastic water liners so it's possible that water will escape the shower during use.
- It would be nice to include channel guides in each room so guests can better find channels. Also, the TV connection seems to need improvement as it froze periodically during our stay.
- Unfortunately there probably isn't much that can be done about this but there aren't really any restaurants or gas stations within easy walking distance. There is an Indian restaurant that's supposed to be attached to the hotel but they were closed. Not sure why.

I'm told that renovations are going to be underway so hopefully some of these things will get addressed.
