Booked a night for our cruise. The location was great, close to food, grocery and nice area to walk around. The room was clean and spacious. The room has a mini fridge and keurig coffee. They have a microwave in there breakfast area but not sure if guest can use it anytime. Didn’t expect there breakfast will have good variety. Will surely come back.

I was booked here by my employer for a conference. The room appeared clean and recently renovated, and the breakfast was ok in that it offered a decent amount of options. However, my stay (2 nights) overall was unpleasant. The water pressure in the shower was terrible, not that it mattered because I waited 25 minutes for the water to get hot and it never did. I attempted to shower twice, once at night and once in the morning, and there was never any hot water in the shower. The water temperature may have been an issue that was isolated to my room, but the water pressure was not, as evidenced by the conversations I had with my coworkers who were also staying in the hotel. The pool was unavailable due to the indoor gym area having just been painted. The pool itself is tiny, which is not clear in the pictures on the website. I was also concerned about pests, having read previous reviews stating that the hotel had bedbugs and cockroaches. I did not see any evidence of bugs, but at one point, I rode the elevator from the lobby up to my floor and it smelled as if someone had sprayed half a can of bug spray inside the elevator. There was a lot noise from the hallway, doors slamming, people talking (at normal levels), the ice machine being used, so it was difficult to fall asleep. Because of these issues, I would not return to stay at this hotel if I ever found myself coming to this area again.

My stay at Best Western was good. The beds were comfortable, the room/bathroom was clean to my standards. The balcony showed city view. The breakfast had a few hot plate items, waffle maker, cereals, etc. Parking was ample, $25/night. $200 deposit for the stay which was refunded 2 business days after check out. Walking distance of about 15-20 min to Harbor and Aquarium.

I stayed at this hotel with my four kids for a gymnastics meet, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the incredible staff who made our stay unforgettable. The hotel was spotless, and the breakfast was fantastic. The front desk staff, housekeeping, and the breakfast attendant were all exceptionally friendly, helpful, and eager to assist with any questions or requests we had. Everyone went out of their way to ensure we had a comfortable and pleasant stay. Highly recommend!

King room was missing it’s side chair and side table in the large empty corner space, only an ottoman and floor lamp present. When I informed front desk staff they firmly told me that room only comes with an ottoman even though I pointed out to them that the BWH website photos and descriptions showed and said there was a lounge chair and side table as well. ||Then the engineer came to check the room to see and said oh this remodeled room entrance is too skinny for a lounge chair , it’s supposed to have a sofa instead, and when I asked him for that he said why don’t you just ask for a different room with the lounge chair. ||As I walked the hallway to the front desk I noticed many of the rooms open for housekeeping and inspection and saw indeed that every other room on the floor with a single king or single queen bed did indeed have a lounge chair and table like the website said , even the empty king room next to my assigned room. Every room except mine. ||When I went back to the front desk and pointed out that every other room did indeed have a lounge and table except mine, and asked to be moved to the empty room next door, the new front desk person rudely informed me that those rooms with lounge chairs were a different nightly rate, no resolution to my complaint, no offers to move me to a correctly furnished guest room. ||BTW I met with BW hotel corporate execs the next day at a hotel conference around the corner, and I’m a licensed travel agent as well, so now BW corporate and the travel agency industry both now know why this remodeled independently owned hotel needs some additional training in guest experience.

The rooms were kind of small, and there was no microwave. Shower doors are difficult to close, and water pressure is very minimal. I can hear noises outside the room and outside the hotel. However, the room was very clean, the staff was nice, and the breakfast is pretty good, though.

Overall it's a great little place and good bang for the buck. I was pleasantly surprised and the room seem like they've been semi-renovated. The TV is kind of sad and small, and they lock out switching inputs!!! but if you see my photos there's a button underneath the front to the right where you can do that so bring your own fire stick and put it in one of the inputs or you're going to be annoyed and stuck with the ghetto TV stations they have. Otherwise the room was nice, relatively quiet, fairly dark in the morning, and a decent temperature. The shower head is a little janky and doesn't have a good setting that I could find. I'll also mention the staff were extremely friendly too. All Things Considered I would definitely consider staying there again next year...

The hotel exceeded my expectations. The staff was friendly, the price was fair, only a couple of blocks away from some really good food, and it was about a 15 minute walk to the convention center. It was perfect for what I needed. I would stay here again.
