The staff is kind, happy, and eager to help and please. The computers worked well, as did the printer. Breakfast was out-of-this world: actual homemade items, with even the potatoes cut individually! There is a spectacular coffee/mocha/hot chocolate|machine near the computer lounge, and it is one of the best, as far as choices and quality go. The room temperature was easy to adjust to whatever temperature we chose, for day and/or night. The beds were so cozy, warm, and the pillows so dreamy that I did not want to get out of bed! Television/cable stations were plentiful and clear, the refrigerator cold, and the bathroom amenities were lush and welcome. The lighting for nighttime was a welcome thing, since someone will always make their way to the bathroom when it is otherwise pitch-dark. Two different Newspapers at the front desk were a treat, as well as posted flyers describing major art and music nearby in town.

The night shift staff member at the front desk was so friendly and incredibly helpful! I wish I remembered his name.

My fiancé and I stayed here as an impromptu stay. Wasn’t planned but didn’t want to drive home after the concert.

The beds were super comfortable. The room was very clean. The personal care items were even very nice as well and smelled great!

And to top it off, the breakfast. Phenomenal. Made with love.

You can tell the long time staff members really care about their clients.

Perfect location with gated parking. Short walk to the Kirby Center for shows. The hotel was warm and welcoming with fireplaces and awesome staff. Breakfast was fantastic! They offered scrambled eggs, delicious potatoes, sausage (turkey or pork) and homemade French toast. You could also make your own waffles and there were cold options as well (yogurt, cereal, fresh fruit). The chef was very welcoming and experienced cook. I highly recommend this hotel and will be back again. Thank you for everything!!

Didn't have high expectations for a best western but was pleasantly surprised! Perfect spot for a Kirby center show, one block away. Hotel and room were clean and pleasant, bed was comfy. Rooms were nice size, and the staff was very accomodating. Would def stay again.

Chris the night front desk manager couldn’t have been more helpful. The hotel, through no fault of their own lost power due to a blown transformer that the electric company had to fix. We were out for most of the day expecting that the electric company had plenty of time to get it fixed before our return to the hotel around 7pm. We arrived to a pitch black hotel lit only by flashlights. We were given the option to leave but were informed by Chris that the electric company was working on the problem and gave us an expected fix time. We decided to hunker down and wait it out. After the expected fix time came and went we decided to stop down at the front desk for an update. Chris gave us a new fix time and offered us complimentary snacks and drinks from the store on site and even gave us a special dog bone for our dog for her inconvenience as well. We so appreciated Chris’s kindness, honest updates and genuine care for our comfort and safety under these unusual and unexpected circumstances. Our customer experience could not have been better. Best Western was kind to comp our last night due to the outage. The staff and hotel went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and safe. We look forward to our next visit! Thank you!

We spent a few nights here and really enjoyed it. The entire staff here were so
very friendly, polite and helpful. Really nice people! The room was nice and breakfast is made fresh restaurant quality.

We had a great experience at this hotel! Staff were very welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable! The retro hotel is in great shape with comfortable beds and very clean rooms. Bathrooms have new tile. We had many choices of restaurants all within a short walk. Breakfast was delicious with many choices including eggs, sausages potatoes, waffles, French toast, yogurt, fruit cereal. Overall we were very comfortable!

Comfortable bed with quality linens. Great water pressure,hot water for shower. Very clean room and bathroom. Spacious room. Working fridge, microwave ,TV. Great temperature control for room, can have room hot, warm, cool or cold ,whatever is your preference. Excellent breakfast with both hot and cold choices and food was delicious. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location. Reasonable price.
