We had a fabulous time on our bike ride on the Great Allegheny Passage! We rented bikes from Bike the Burgh Tours and the bikes were our style, well maintained and included all the bike tools needed (just-in-case) for our self-guided tour. On the day of our departure, the staff at Bike the Burgh narrated the cityscape as he escorted us to the beginning of GAP trail. This was an extra bonus! Sarah from Bike the Burgh was easy to work with and responsive to our emails and questions. The shuttle that retrieved the rental bikes in Cumberland, MD and returned them to Bike the Burgh was smooth, too. Overall, a wonderful experience!

Had a fantastic day on both the Beauty of the Burgh and the Brewery Tours. Kudos to Kane and Diane - both excellent guides! And to Jodi for her excellent customer service. I highly recommend this tour to get a feel for Pittsburgh and its people. Keep up the good work, guys!

I highly recommend 'Bike the Burgh' Tours'. It was easy to book and the price is more than fair. The tour was scenic and beautiful. I have lived close to Pittsburgh my whole life and we came across places I have never seen before today and I learned so many interesting facts about our beautiful city.
Our tour guide Daniel was absolutely fantastic. Incredibly knowledgeable, had a great attitude the whole time, attentive the entire tour, and patient with my daughter that needed extra time because she was young, and had never biked in the busy Pittsburgh area.
Bikes and helmets are available to rent. The convenience of renting their equipment was perfect and absolutely worth the price.
Can't wait to come back to attend one of the other tours! Thank you for a great experience!

Great tour! I went solo and was grouped with 6 other people, some who were also solo. I thought 3 hours would drag but it actually went fast. There was beautiful weather which made this extra enjoyable. So many people warned me, Pittsburgh is a hilly city, why are you doing a bike tour?! The company and the reviews don't lie- the route is flat and easy! There was one small section of switchback inclines to get up to a bridge, that was the hardest part and still no big deal. You can expect stop and go riding, so it's just a little bit at a time. The guide Doug was very knowledgeable and he admits he likes to talk too much. I'd prefer a little less talking and more riding but I still very much enjoyed the tour.
The bikes are prepped with a water bottle holder and small leather pouch for personal items. Bikes were comfortable and in good condition. Got a cute little Heinz pickle pin for a souvenir.

Our guide, Kane, was great. He focused alot on the history of the city, from its founding in colonial times, through the industrial era of the robber barons, the Pittsburgh Renaissance, and into this century. We had rain and it we got pretty cold, but I'm glad we powered through!

Very funny way to get to know Pittsburgh Downtown in just three hours. Marc will take you to most interesting spots and he will also explain you wow histories about the city. We got the feeling it was short (although the tour lasts 3 hours). It would be great if they offer longer tours to visit other neighbourhoods, kind of picnic trip, but you can also do it yourself renting a bike. Overall, totally recommend!

We flew into Pittsburg from St Louis and needed to rent bikes for the Gap\C@O trail. Bike the Burghs was very accomondating. We picked up our bike the afternoon before to make sure they were ready. The Bikes were in great shape. They had everything we needed and the the two back pannier bags and front bags had plenty of space for our stuff. On the Gap trail you might wonder why they have the larger tires. The first 25 miles of the C@O out of Cumberland are little rough ( not the crushed limestone you get use to on the Katy or Gap trail) especially in the rain we hit. The last 45 miles into DC are also bumpy. These Hybrid bikes proved to be just what we needed. They served us well for the 350 miles we rode. Great vendor if you decide to fly in to Pittsburg and need to rent bikes.

Highly recommend Bike the Burgh Tours for bike rentals! They were responsive to all my family's bike needs for our ride from Pittsburgh to DC. The bikes were in great condition and comfortable for long days in the saddle. Dave was very thorough in making sure the bikes fit us and everything was working properly. The pick up in DC was perfect as well. What a great experience!
