Cass is an extremely talented, professional, and calming presence. We are thrilled to have had her take our Maternity and Newborn photos. Not only is she well prepared, thorough, and communicative - she (just by being herself) creates a peaceful atmosphere for her clients to feel comfortable. She captured the essence of our love and the beauty of our son in a powerful way and we cannot thank her enough for the work she has done. She suggested posing in my maternity shoot that made me feel confident, and was able to comfort and soothe our newborn so naturally to obtain the sweetest poses and photo results. Cass did a fabulous job on our newborn/family photos! We are truly in love with them and will treasure them forever! She was extremely patient with our newborn and toddler during the session and made what I thought would be an overwhelming experience completely stress free. Her editing and photo quality is superb. A wonderful experience! Cass had such patience with our little guy during his newborn photos. Her creativity and experience showed both during the photo shoot and in the final product. We have enjoyed the mini sessions she provides as well and she is always very quick to get your final photos back to you. Thanks for a great experience once again!

From scheduling to final product and everything in between, Cass is amazing. Scheduling and paying for our fall mini session was so easy. The cost of the mini session was so affordable and so worth it. The session reminders were also great. Cass answered all the questions I had before we booked within minutes of contacting her. We received our photos so quickly after our session that we were actually shocked! Our actual session was so much fun and she made everything feel so relaxed. We typically feel awkward having our photos taken but we felt so at ease with Cass. She was so great with our 7 month old and the photos she captured of him are proof of that. My husband and I cried and laughed while looking through our photo gallery the first time because of how perfectly she captured all his sweet and funny faces. The final photos are artfully edited. Her attention to detail ensures that every single photo is perfect. Cass has an eye for color which makes her photos stand out against others. She also has an eye for creating a background that creates a mood and sets the scene for the shoot but that doesn’t detract from the subject. Her choice of background offers visual interest in a photo without taking any attention away from the focus of the photo- you and your loved ones. We have found our family photographer for life. I cannot recommend her enough.

Cass at Black Gap was awesome! We were looking for a newborn photographer last minute and she was super quick to respond, accommodating with dates and times and friendly! When we arrived, she was welcoming and made us feel comfortable. She took so much time getting our little one set up and photo ready. She was patient with our 2 1/2 year old as well and we came away with so many nice photos! Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for quality pictures and professional work!
