Blue Knob is a very special place! We have been skiing here as a family for several years and loved it so much that my husband joined ski patrol, my kids joined the ski team and we bought a condo. It is the most family-friendly resort you will find with prices that can’t be beat!

We have just finished our tour of all of the ski resorts in a 2 1/2 hour radius of our home. Blue Knob is without a doubt our favorite.

The slopes are amazing. The lodge is basic but very comfortable. The staff is in departments are exceptionally friendly and helpful.

We will be heading back for Christmas! Thank you, Blue Knob.

This is the steepest mountain in a 3 hour drive radius of Pittsburgh. The lift ticket prices are reasonable and the mountain never disappoints. The food in the lodge is of good quality and reasonably priced with healthy options if that's what you're looking for. We skip Seven Springs all the time to come here!!

Blue Knob is a throwback mountain. It's family owned and a nice local place. Prices are reasonable for lift tickets and food.

Relies a little more on natural snow than other mountains, but great vertical for mid Atlantic and just a good vibe overall.

Not sure what’s worse the snowmaking or the people who work there .

First it’s the best winter PA had in ages and blue knob still manage to have terrible conditions. Apparently they don’t make snow and it shows. Bare spots, icey and skied off. Every else in the tristate conditions are great this place they are terrible. And people said this is the best conditions they can remember!!!!

Now we get to the staff. They are the rudest people. I don’t know who is worse the bartender or the ticket window. They obviously are miserable with their jobs and they take it out on you. I with the notable exception of
the lifties and the cafeteria girls they were nice. They, and i could be wrong were immigrants so they weren’t infected with the toxic culture of this place.

Speaking of the cafeteria the food is disgusting. They leave fries under a hot lamp to go cold and greasy and then charge $5 for them. I had the worse burger I have ever had.

Don’t waste your time driving there it’s the worst mountain with the rudest employees I’ve ever skied.

Beautiful location and drive up with snow on the ground. I like how you come through the state park to get to the resort. Everyone was very nice. Opening weekend conditions were pretty rough so hopefully we'll be back when it's better.

Very cool place to ski and snowboard. the resort is older and needs some renovations. The “ terrain park “,The rails and boxes at blue Knob are very limited but the trails make up for the park not being up to what it could be. Blue Knob has the best trails in the area. This resort has trails from beginners to experts the beginners slope is perfect for learners and is it’s on separate trail and lift were as a trail like Extrovert is super intense but it allows well seasoned skiers and snowboarders to learn new things to. The food is decent in the resort. Ski patrol is always out and helping people as well as the blue knob team. I recommend this resort just make sure to sharpen your edges before you get their because most of the time there are some Icey spots on the trails.
