Still beautiful after coming here for years ❤️❤️ such a magical place with different ecosystem areas to explore. Lots of insects and animals to see or watch out for ? there are so many desert flowers or regular flowers to enjoy. The price has gone up but its still worth it because you could stay here all day ❤️❤️? and they said they don't get any funding from the government so thats why the price went up .

Absolutely breathtaking. This is a great place for a day trip or to show out-of-town visitors some beautiful desert landscapes. We took parents here and they loved it. We walked the main path which is 1.25 miles long. I do wish they had told me/listed the elevation gain as it was more strenuous than I expected. I have a recent injury so might have shortened my hike had I known.

This is one of my favorite places to go. It is quiet and an incredible display of trees and plants. Today I took my dog on an early cool walk around the trails and gardens. Absolutely perfect morning.

This wondrous place is so enchanting! There are alot of side trails that are perfect for wanderers. Dog friendly, and a perfect place to bring a picnic. I stayed 4 hours and only experienced maybe half of what this arboretum has to offer! I cannot wait for my next visit.

I really loved the concept of Paradise in the desert. We went on an afternoon hike in early March, so the weather was perfect. We spent about 3 hours walking around and enjoying everything and I bought some amazing plants for my garden! They are actually doing very well and going strong. They were reasonably priced, so don't forget to check out the nursery.
Things you will need or need to know:
*Bring plenty of bottled water or snacks if you have children
*Make sure to use the restroom before beginning the walk or hike.
*It is dog friendly
*Wear tennis shoes or hiking boots
*Probably not a great idea to go when it is too hot as the walk or hikes won't be as fun. If you do go in the summer, I would advise first thing in the morning. I would go either February, March, April, or October.
I have included beautiful photos! It's definitely a once in a lifetime kind of place that you will remember. I probably would go back for a quick hike and more plants ?

It can be a nice day trip for those living in Phoenix and its surroundings. The interior is tidy, clean and safe. I do not recommend you to go in the summer. You can get an annual card. The prices are very affordable. There are shops where you can buy small gifts and live plants.

Fabulous! The 75 minute drive was well worth it. Water and good walking shoes are a must as you walk through a number of different ecosystems from lush to desert to mountainous to water. Easy to navigate with informative signs all over, we probably walked 3 miles and could've done more. This place is a gem. Great to bring out of towners to.

A great place to marvel in God's beautiful creation. Walking through the rose garden was a delight to the senses - it smelled so good! Everything was in bloom (April) and so colorful and stunning. The birds were playful and entertaining to watch. Fun place for photography, too. Just lovely.
