A wonderful, beautiful, and truly amazing campground. This is our first visit here, but it won't be our last! We've enjoyed sitting by the water and watching all boats float past, then after a while, they'll have to use their motor to go against the current to do it all over again! The campground is clean, and the park rangers were so helpful. I highly recommend this little piece of heaven.

We recently returned from a five day camping trip to Bull Shoals. What a fabulous time we had. Beautiful and spacious campsites, clean facilities and a very friendly staff. We rented a canoe for a phenomenal float trip and were returned back to the park by two of the nicest park employees. I can recommend this beautiful slice of camping heaven without reservation!

This is arguably one of the best state parks in Arkansas. The park sits on Bull Shoals Lake and the White River. The park offers many amenities but the best was the swing by the river. This was a great way to destress.

A great state park that offers full hookups spots and it is right next to the river. You can bank fish or kayak from the ramp in the park.

Beautiful area. Loved going through the Bull shoals state park visitor center. Lots to see. Had a little movie that talked about the history of the area before and during the creation of the dam. There are lots of campsites to stay at. And an excellent area to trout fish. Take the trip and stay here. I'll try to get some more scenic pictures next time I'm there. I got caught up in the beauty and nature around me.

Had Easter egg hunt here, the trees are plentiful, and the playground was clean. There is a large pavilion, which can be rented, and is close to the river and right next to bathrooms and playground... also verry clean and well maintained. It's just beautiful down there.

my extended male family goes trout fishing here every year. we use guides and the fishing is great. these guys know what they are doing. we had eleven in our group. we stay in mountain home and it's an easy drive to the park. it can be a bit cold at times. we usually go for a couple of days from mid April to mid March.
we really enjoy it. the park concession has most any supplies you may need to make the trip effective.

Restrooms are modern with toilets and showers. Each are kept very clean throughout the weekend. Three new shower houses are unbelievable. Each is wheelchair accessible with showers and toilet areas. The attraction to this park is the river for world class trout fishing. A small boat dock and gift shop offers guide service, boat/kayak rentals, and gifts. The campsites are large and well separated. We stayed in a "buddy" site, which we discovered holds two rv's close together. Each site had water and electricity. The river view sites should be sought out. The gift shop has a back deck overlooking the river that should not be missed. Unfortunately, the deck closes with the gift shop. Access to the river is available by several areas with steps down. If fishing is your thing, you must stay here.
