Really enjoyable tour of a beautiful area. We got up close with seals, pelicans, sea lions, and even a sea cucumber. Bryce was warm and friendly with a sense of humor, and he offered plenty of tidbits to make us feel like we learned something. Easy to get to, easy to do, and a fun way to spend an hour or two in Santa Barbara.

Actually this is Tracy Miller... 🙂 I decided on renting from Cal Coast Adventures yesterday 11/29/2020 primarily for where they are situated - right on the beach. I am not a fan of having to use a dock to get in and out of a kayak. Cal Coast Adventures at West Beach turned out to be even better than expected. Great customer service on the phone and AWESOME customer service from ANDRE' right there on the beach. Very friendly, helpful and professional. Great kayaks and paddle boards that are in very good condition. Loved the high back seats for the kayaks. Looks like they were brand new. I highly recommend Cal Coast Adventures at West Beach for kayaking and sup fun. Just be sure to find parking off the main drag as it is only 90 mins and trust me you will want to spend more than 90 mins out on the water there in Santa Barbara! I will be back soon!

Enjoyed paddle boarding at Santa Barbara’s beach today at 65 degrees! Has an amazing panoramic view of the city, the harbor and the pier. Cal Coast Rental place is close to the main beach, excellent customer service!

My husband and I went on a 2 hour stand up paddle board lesson with Kristen. She was great. She gave us some good tips and tricks for beginners and she had some good background info about Santa Barbara and the habor.

Great customer service! They even text msg and return your calls even if you don’t leave a VM. I booked a 3hr,and needed to change it to a 2hr day of and really only could do an hour after my kayak partner tipped the kayak over then got seasick. They were so nice to refund me for just 1hr. Just follow Google maps don’t follow Apple Maps And make sure to Google maps this exact location: cal coast adventures at west beach. They are directly at the beach. You have to launch the kayak yourself and carry it to shore ,which is the only downside and no dry bags provided. They do watch your stuff for you so it was a good thing we left our stuff with them. Kayaks were very sturdy. Staff was excellent. Will be back again! Great rates as well but do book in advance as I saw they book out on weekends. They close at 6:30 not 4pm btw.

Amazing experience! Booked the day of because we had no idea where to do water activities and ended up at the best place. We booked online and the had lots of equipment available, which was perfect. The team helped us immediately when we arrived and was super friendly. We did paddle boarding and kayaking, the view was beautiful and loved how this is right on the sand so it’s super easy! Thank you Cal Coast Adventures for a fun day with the whole family.

We had a SUP lesson with Molly and it was excellent. After providing helpful tips we went into the harbor, toured, and explored. Molly was knowledgeable about the area had some great recommendations for food after our lessons. She was accommodating to our group (one of us had never paddle boarded before). It was a great lesson and tour of the Harbor! I will definitely recommend and go again.

This was our first experience paddle boarding. We scheduled a 90 minute lesson with Emily and she both a fantastic teacher, but also took us on a nice little tour of the harbor. My wife was very nervous at first, but Emily was very patient and helped her grow her confidence. We would recommend this to anybody trying out their addle boarding for the first time.
