Hotel is beautiful and at a great location.
Near shopping stores, restaurants & supermarkets. Easy check in and parking nearby.
Came here to recover after a surgery I had nearby & the room was clean & beautiful. It was quiet and they even had a wheelchair available for use, which was the cherry on top. They were also very accommodating and checked up on me. If ever in this area again I Will come back. My stay was from a Tuesday-Thursday.

Not sure how to rate this stay here, but a 1 star overall is deserved. Checked in an everything seemed fine, that was till it became evident that the hotel was overtaken by at least 100 high school/college kids for some sort of competition. I've stayed in hotels with large groups before but this was on a different level. The first night the constant noise, kids wandering the halls, an the sound of the doors slamming every 30 seconds till 2am meant no sleep. An was not helped by them being up at 7am for competition an getting ready. Made a complaint in the morning an was told the situation was being handled an they were talking to the guests who were a problem. Night 2 was the same, but by 12:30am I had had enough an complained again. 1am rolls around an it's still just as bad an headed down to the lobby to directly speak to someone. It was at this point when I realized the poor girl at the front desk was overwhelmed an in a bad situation. By 2am the doors slamming an the children wandering the halls finally stopped. In the morning at checkout I was hopeful that there would have been at least an apology or some sort of discount given for our inconvenience (an lack of sleep for 2 nights) this was not the case, instead the lobby was filled with kids an the front desk lady just had is place our keys in a plastic bin an said have a nice day. As someone in the service industry, there should have been a senior staff member there to handle the situation as well as handle the other guests grievances. I will never stay at this hotel again an will tell everyone the same. I could get past the minor cleaning issues that we encountered without a fuss. But this level of disrespect an inhospitable conditions for sleeping I would have given a 0 star rating if possible. Also not having hot water for showers was the icing on the cake after 2 sleepless nights. (Writing this review from another hotel that's quiet, an has hot water)

I was so confident I’d be giving this place a 5 star review when I checked in but unfortunately this isn’t the case. The hotel is lovely, great location, updated rooms but the timing of the stay was terrible. There was a group of teenagers staying here that were yelling in the hallways for hours. I’m never one to call the front desk but the noise was unbearable even after midnight. I don’t think anyone wants to pay to have a sleepless night and that’s basically what I did.

Stayed here for one night, the room was PHENOMENAL, great layout, clean and updated. My issue is the restaurant pricing and food was lacking. One egg on the side is $5 No kids menu. It was not very good. Bar service was great and the gentleman was very sincere. If I wasn't in a rush I would never eat there again. Otherwise great location and hotel rooms!

I had a really good experience here! The place was clean, no weird smells, no bugs or mold or anything. Staff were very nice and accommodating, despite the fact they had to work on Thanksgiving. I didn't go to the pool, but my daughter went and said the water was warm enough for her to swim. The only disappointment was that they do not provide free breakfast. For many travelers, especially those traveling with kids, a free buffet breakfast is clutch. Overall I can't complain, especially because I found the rates to be more than fair.

It's a pretty good hotel. The rooms are clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable.

There is no free breakfast included with your stay. Any breakfast you have is billed to your room. Free parking was aplenty and easy to find. The water pressure in the shower was low.

The staff were just okay. They weren't really welcoming, and it didn't feel too hospitable. The women I interacted with at the service desk at both times were cold.

There's shopping and restaurants close-by which makes this a great location to stay.

We had a lovely 2 night stay at the Cambria in South Windsor. Shout outs to Mike and Shamonique for being friendly and helpful during our visit. The rooms are spacious and modern and the beds are comfortable. The only thing I had an issue with was the wi-fi because I needed to be online for work meetings and the internet speed was slow and unreliable in the room and in the lobby. Breakfast is not free, but I heard from other people we stayed with that it was good. The "fire pits" outside at night were a nice touch on a chilly fall evening. We have had good experiences with Cambria in general, and this was one of the better stays we've had.

I checked in on Friday with my Maid of Honor. I had called no less than 10 times to confirm that my room would be adjoined with husbands Best Man’s room. When I asked about that during check in, I was told they were not available. This is appalling to me that I can have a note in the file and it still not be handled. This was a horrific start to my wedding weekend, dealing with that stress. When speaking with the person at the desk, he told me “Best Man said it was fine”, because he had told Best Man the same thing. I am genuinely disgusted that I called to confirm something that many times, there was a note in the file, and nothing was done. Furthermore, I understand mistakes happen, but nothing was done in the moment to rectify that.

Next, one of my other bridesmaids was contacted around noon on Saturday and told her room was ready. She left the room we were in to put her belongings in that room. She came back and reported to me that in the room she was assigned, woman on the bed, a man in the shower, and the room smelt deeply of weed. This is not only an inconvenience, but a major safety concern as a group of women in their 20s. That situation could have been much worse for her. Luckily, it was not. The front desk did rectify this situation by apologizing and getting her a new room. While I appreciate the help, the fact of the matter is the original incident is scary, concerning, and should never have happened.

Next, I received a call while I was at my wedding photos that one of my guests could not check into his hotel room. Imagine the disbelief I felt getting that call at my wedding photos. Check-in time at your hotel is at 3pm. I received this call at 4:45pm. That is beyond unacceptable in every regard. To not have a room ready just shy 2 hours after check-in is unfair to guests, especially ones who had to be on a shuttle to my wedding by 5:25pm.

Do not stay here.
