I had such a wonderful experience with Canyonology Treks and Stephan, our tour guide. Stephan was so knowledgeable about the Grand Canyon from the plants to even the history. The food supplied was so creative and yummy. It was so amazing to have a trustworthy guide and equipment supplied. I highly recommend this tour group!

I recently went on a 4-day backpacking trip with Canyonology. It was an incredible experience. The hiking was well-staggered across the time period, and I never felt that I was overexerting myself. All of the meals were delicious and hearty. Our guide, Stephan, was extremely knowledgeable about the canyon and planned extracurricular activities so that we could explore each spot that we camped. It was a great opportunity to see parts of the canyon I had never seen and learn along the way.

Canyon hiking would rarely be described as comfortable, but I think this Canyonology trip was one of the most comfortable hikes I’ve ever been on while simultaneously being one of the most beautiful.

I went on a gnarly hike with Canyonology -- four days and three nights down the Hermit Trail and up Bright Angel. I always felt safe & taken care of. The guides are lifelong learners, truly curious souls, people who relish the canyon above all else. The food was AMAZING -- I ate better at the bottom of the world than I sometimes do at home.

I'd absolutely recommend Canyonology for everything from a day hike along the rim to the adventure of a lifetime.

I had an amazing time on my canyonology trek through the canyon! Stephan, our guide, was patient with everyone involved, expansive knowledge on the Grand Canyon, and provided and overall great experience. I highly recommend canyonology for all of your guided Grand Canyon hiking!

Mike was thoughtful, helpful, friendly and very educated about hiking and the Grand Canyon. He made sure we always felt comfortable and were doing well on our hike. Although the hike was rigorous the views were well worth it. Having Mike organize the hike made it well worth it. I would highly recommend to my friends and family.

Recently did a trek through the canyon through Canyonology with some friends and Stephan as our guide. I must say, I had never been on a backpacking trek of any sort before so I had no idea what to expect, but Stephan made sure to explain everything very thoroughly and even when things that I wasn't prepared for came up, he made sure to always have a plan. All the way from the trip itself, to awesome food service, to having blister stickers for my feet if i ended up needing them(Which I did), Stephan had it covered. Great trip, beautiful sights, and wonderful service. Also, the guy is a well of knowledge of the canyon. Anything and everything I asked about, he had some sort of information or story to lend to it. I came back with more knowledge of the canyon than I ever thought I'd have in my life. Thanks Canyonology. Will definitely be seeing you guys again in the future for another trek.
