Ive had a frustrating experience with this agency. I've tried reaching out multiple times regarding the home health aide for my son, but unfortunately, I have not received any response. Timely communication is crucial for us, and due to the lack of response, I have to reconsider moving forward with their services. It's essential to work with an agency that is responsive and attentive to our needs, and this experience has NOT met those expectations.

I worked here for 4 years…. Out of their Lewistown PA office. I was treated like dirt! I could go on and on about the treatment but I will say the important. And that is I have been resigned from this company for over a month. I still get emails about things. Whatever. BUT now they’re TEXTING ME from ON CALL phones which when I worked there that was a huge no no you COULD NOT text the ON CALL phones AT ALL it was for EMERGENCIES only. Funny huh? Well now they are harassing me with MADE UP RUMORS. My information should not even be in the phone anymore I left on Christmas! Not to mention other employees contact myself and other former employees asking if our paychecks were ever short, if the Regional Manager committed fraud, etc. I would NEVER trust them with employment OR care of a loved one. Been there done that with both! NIGHTMARE! Wish I could give negative stars.

Dishonest, disrespectful and disturbed. Inviting these people into your home is like inviting in a swarm of locust. I'm an 86-year-old woman in a wheelchair. All of their caregivers, with the exception of two, stole housewares, clothes, and even an overhead light fixture and switch. Apparently one of them was very mechanically inclined, and removed hasp locks, which were not affixed with one-way screws. When I approached the field supervisor, she denied all my allegations by claiming that I had dementia. To confirm her claim, she called a team to administer a mental status examination, which I passed. They further harassed me by calling, without my permission, one of my healthcare providers as well as a retirement community that I am considering moving to. They obviously do not do sufficient background checks.

After numerous caregivers, we were fortunate to find our current caregiver. She is excellent and makes a difference. We greatly appreciate her. That's very positive. Unfortunately, when she is away for time off, many, but not all of the temporary caregivers who are assigned to take her place are unprofessional and unqualified. They do little, instead spending the day doing everything but their job - CARING FOR THE CLIENT. The home is not well kept and their attire and demeanor are unprofessional. Sloppy clothes, bare feet, sprawled out on the furniture, on cell phones all day - these are just several of the items that concern our family. We have to trust our parent is being cared for in a professional manner. Anything less is unacceptable.

Unfortunately, the company rarely visits the home to verify the employee is working in a professional manner. I've made numerous calls to our account representative to express my frustrations and concerns but never received a call back to address the matter.

I truly don't understand why this happens. Where is the concern of management? You're left to realize it's not taken seriously.

On March 1st I had a complete Knee replacement. My therapist Allie came to my home on the 3rd and there aren't enough adjectives to explain how great of a physical therapist she is. Allie pushed me when I thought I couldn't do it, she gave me confidence and lessened my fears of walking again. She's extremely gentle and very respectful of your boundaries as well as including your family members that are helping you at home. If I ever need another surgery Allie will most certainly be the person I request. Thank you for all that you did for me, words can't express enough the gratitude I have for you!! ❤

A very senior family member uses this agency for personal care aids. I am her POA and troubleshoot when needed.
Although she likes her aid, whenever an aid is unavailable due to vacation, illness, weather, Caregivers does not outreach to clients or their families regarding substitutes. They apparently have no protocol or policy for providing subs and only when pressured by multiple calls do they attempt to respond. But often in vain as the aid may or may not show up and once again, no one is notified. That leaves a dependent senior waiting all day for a shower that never happens and worse, skipping meals while waiting for an aid who is a no show.
With each incident there is an apology, but nothing ever changes.
And during Covid they apparently have a loose requirement regarding vaccinations and hence many aids are not vaccinated. Again leaving vulnerable seniors without support, esp those they already know cannot get the vaccine due to medical issues.
