We had originally decided to do all of our wedding planning ourselves, which started off fine but as we started getting closer and closer to the day it became clear that we needed more help. We contacted Mariah about 6 or 7 weeks out from our wedding date and we are so lucky that she had availability to squeeze us in. We spoke to half a dozen different planners but once we spoke to Mariah we immediately knew she was the one and we wanted to work with her. Right off the bat she was less over the top then the other planners we had spoken to and was much more realistic and easy to talk to... more like talking to a friend where as the other planners we spoke to felt like we were planning a great gatsby ball. Mariah, was always professional, she recommended things that we had never thought of and her initial questionnaire for us made us realize how much had slipped through the cracks. She stepped in late in the game and immediately got on the phone with our reception hall, caterer, and two different bands. She read through all of our contracts, and brought multiple things to our attention that needed to be dealt with quickly. She created an online folder for all of our documents and kept everything organized and easy to use. After hiring Mariah, it became quickly evident how much we needed her help but she never made it seem overwhelming because she called things to our attention but in the same breadth said, "this is what I have done to deal with this, and I need you to do X". We cannot recommend her enough.
