Cedarhurst Senior Living of Washington is a great community. As a staff member I see the day to day at Cedarhurst. Our staff is approachable with empathy, patience and respect for all those who walk thru our Community. We strive to make the experience here at Cedarhurst the best for all. We have a great staff including dining, housekeeping, care staff and management. We love what we do here at Cedarhurst otherwise we wouldn’t do what we do everyday. It takes special people to work in healthcare and we have those special people here at Cedarhurst! Besides our staff we have supportive families and the best residents! Resident who bring smiles, laughter, tears to all who walk into our community. Our amazing residents make Cedarhurst what it is and we are so proud of this!

My father decided to make Morningside his home this past January. He was living alone and, although still very independent, he wanted to downsize to a one bedroom apartment and liked the idea of sharing his meals with others in the dining room. He is a social person and is invigorated mentally and physically by living with others and participating in various activities. He has been given leadership opportunities and likes to help others too. The facility is clean and attractive. The staff is friendly and they treat residents with respect. I am thankful to see my dad thriving at Morningside.

Cedarhurst of Washington is such a great assisted living facility to bring your loved ones. The staff is amazing and goes above and beyond for the residents. At Cedarhust, they provide an array of activities for them to partake in such as bingo, exercise, crafts, movie night, etc. In addition, the cooks/servers take great care of everyone. The food is great and the staff makes sure everyone is satisfied before leaving the dining room. Overall, Cedarhurst is an amazing place.

Morningside was a Godsend to us! The staff were all so good to my Dad. I live two hours away, and even though I could visit often, the peace of mind I had each time I left was invaluable. The food is great, the building is nice and well kept, and the staff (ALL the staff) are very caring and helpful. Whenever we had a question, concern, or needed information they were prompt and professional. I don't know what we would have done if we had not found such a perfect place for my Dad. Thank you Morningside!!!!!!

I recently had an opportunity to attend a friends and family event at Morningside of Washington. Not only is the facility beautiful, the staff is warm, friendly, and attentive. Their pride in the community and caring for their residents is apparent. The residents had a wonderful time dancing, listening to “oldies,” participating in trivia, and eating some seriously tasty food. The staff joined in on the fun and obviously enjoyed socializing with residents and their guests. I asked several folks if they liked living at Morningside and the unanimous feedback was, “yes.” Comments included praise for the staff, the lovely courtyard, activities, and the shopping trips (done via shuttle). I have been to the community on other occasions and always witnessed happy people and accommodating staff.

My mother Marlene Averse recently passed away after living at Morningside of Washington for over 3 1/2 years. The care and compassion she received while there was amazing. The employees treated her as if she were family - and it was all departments. From the secretary Sandy to management, kitchen and dining staff, housekeeping and maintenance - everyone was wonderful. The resident assistants were truly a blessing, doing anything necessary to help my mom. They went above and beyond. I am very grateful! Thanks for everything.

Taking the step to move a loved to an assisted living is hard in normal times, but moving during the Covid crisis seemed monumental. In May my parents realized they needed more help in daily living and I started the search. From my first contact with Angie and, after looking into several other possibilities in the area, I felt like Morningside offered the team that fit my parents' and our family's needs. As a hands on daughter, it was daunting to think I couldn't be there for them but the support we have received before, during and after the move has been a blessing. All the staff has responded to our many questions and concerns quickly and efficiently. Our family is glad to be a part of the Morningside team!
