Chelsea Sun Inn was everything we could’ve asked for and more when it comes to a wedding venue. We rented the property from 9/6/24 - 9/8/24 for our wedding on 9/7/24, and Chelsea Sun allowed us the freedom and flexibility to throw the perfect wedding. We were able to have our closest friends and family stay at the venue all weekend, starting on Friday night for a rehearsal dinner, followed by a pool party. Our wedding ceremony on Saturday was scheduled to take place at the top of the hill on site, but unfortunately Mother Nature had other plans. After a full morning of staring at the radar, we finally at the last minute asked Shane and the rest of the staff to switch our ceremony from outdoors to indoors in their main foyer. Although this is not their usual contingency plan for rain, they could not have been more accommodating, and quickly put together a gorgeous ceremony set up in the location of our choosing, and we couldn’t be more grateful for it. All of the rain actually resulted in a beautiful rainbow during our cocktail hour, and kicked off what was an incredible outdoor reception for us and our 140 guests. Shane was a rockstar for us all weekend, helping us with any issues or questions we had, and ultimately helped make our day as incredible as it was.

The venue itself is gorgeous, filled with stunning outdoor views and extremely intricate details in every room. The property itself is HUGE as well, leading to stunned expressions from our friends that stayed with us as well as countless “How did you find this place?” from our guests. Chelsea Sun Inn allowed us the flexibility to do anything and everything we wanted from our wedding and it resulted in a perfect day for the two of us!!

Beautiful place. Unique, eclectic decorations, love the historic feel. Needs some deep cleaning, its clean but needs to be dusted, polished & cielings cleaned, updated beds, air conditioners & many rooms didn't have curtains. We also had a giant air mattress in our closet, rendering it unusable. But worth it none the less.

The Chelsea sun inn is such a beautiful venue! It’s a canvas for you to do with what you want. I love how historic it is. There’s so many options indoor and outdoor, we got lucky and were able to get married on the hill with the beautiful view of the Delaware Watergap! It was amazing that it was dog friendly, and they even have a room for your dog to stay in, if you wanted to keep them there overnight with you. I will say that you have to do just about everything yourself so keep that in mind when getting this venue. You are basically renting the property for 24 hours so you and 30+ guests can stay at the venue. And there’s breakfast and the bride and groom suites are just gorgeous. They do have a team to set up and breakdown chairs and tables and the ceremony spot. And then, of course, Shane will be your wedding coordinator and he will make sure all of your vendors get to where they need to be the day of! All decorations are up to you. But if you’re creative, it could be a fairytale wedding! Would highly recommend getting married at the Chelsea sun inn!

My husband and I recently celebrated our one year anniversary and we loved reminiscing about our special day at Chelsea Sun Inn. Renting this unique space is a wonderful experience from start to finish. Shane is so charismatic and energetic we were sold on the venue within minutes of our walk through. Chelsea Sun Inn has a top notch vender list to make sure your rental has all of the right people. The day of Shane and his team went above and beyond with a fabulous set up of the space. Shane was there to help with anything we asked. Our wedding at Chelsea Sun Inn is a day we will always fondly remember for many more anniversaries to come.

My wife and I got married at Chelsea Sun Inn on July 5th 2024. We had a hillside ceremony and reception back at the mansion outside.

Folks, this is the venue go with! The reasons? Well first, for the money you spend, you get full use of the property for 24 hours. Second, they have a pool and hot tub. Three, you can have up to 36-41 people stay overnight if needed and they will even get breakfast in the morning!!!

My wife and I checked out other venues. Most of them were only for use for 5 hours and the prices were sometimes doubled what we paid for Chelsea Sun Inn.

It's a no brainer considering what you get for the price. The staff was great and had things prepared the way we wanted them. Shane, the event planner helped us out when there were a couple of miscommunications on our part with them, but he and the staff didn't miss a beat and took control and everything was perfect!!!

I am so happy to have found Chelsea Sun Inn. My wife and I had the most memorable day ever, and our guests did too along with being able to cool off in the swimming pool after such a hot and humid day of memories!!!

Highly recommended!!! Great value!!! Picturesque areas to get married and the mansion is so much fun. Thanks again to Shane and his crew, you made our special day so much more memorable!!!

I honestly can not thank enough the manager and coordinator of this place. They’re amazing, super sweet and the most patient people I’ve met. I had my wedding here and I do not regret choosing this place with my husband. Our guest loved everything this place offered and it was an unforgettable time for us. The staff is very friendly and SUPER helpful! It’s such a comfortable atmosphere. The rooms were beautiful and clean with all the accommodating space you need. The breakfast they prepare for you next day was very delight. It’s a private place all to yourself! Not having to worry about anyone giving you a hard time that you have to leave at a certain time or someone that is not in your party is lurking around.. they make sure also that no outsiders trespass the property. 👍🏼 in the end this place is breathtaking and is special to us. 🥰
