Very beautiful lake. You can drive over the dam too between April 15 to December 15. Other times, it will be closed.

Awesome place to go camping, fishing, hiking, fun in the water. By far one of the best places I've ever been. Absolutely beautiful forest. It's kind of out of the way, but that's part of what makes it worth it

It is a large artificial lake, has access by car and the surrounding reserve area is amazing.

Super difficult to get to after you turn off above Groveland. The road is very narrow and winding, kind of slow moving after that turn off. Beautiful lake. Great place to kayak or canoe.

Beautiful lake. Wound up camping nearby in the wilderness. Only issue I have with the area are the fire restrictions. Only propane stoves allowed at the moment, no camp fires to help keep critters away at night. Had a bear harass my site for a couple nights before I went to another location.
