Love the director Ms Liz, her assistant Ms Ayse and their current staff (Marisol, Deyanira, Cristal, Valerie, Jackie, Lisabeth, Krista, Janette, Alena and Rivkah)! All of them know my children by name even if they don't directly teach them and greet us daily with a huge smile. The staff genuinely loves their work and the kids in the school. The teachers work really hard to ensure their days are filled with various learning activities and opportunities. The classrooms are clean and I love that every day the kids are working on new tasks (even the infants!) for whatever is in the curriculum. Highly recommend for any prospective parent looking for a safe, enriching environment for their children.

Was recommended to come here, the teachers are very loving, my daughter's main teachers are Jackie and Lizbear, They are really awesome!! Every morning my daughter is very happy to go to school to see her teachers. She plays with her toys at home and calls her teachers to say she misses them! thank you very much for Liz's leadership and Asa is also very good, I often see him holding my daughter many times, and other teachers are also very patient, any problems will be dealt with promptly and effectively, I feel respected, my daughter is very happy to go to school every day, highly recommended!

Our family has been a part of the COA family for 3 years! My daughter has been at the COA Wilmington location since she was an infant. I just started a new job so I moved her to the Hockessin location to be closer to my new job. It was not a decision that we made lightly because we loved Wilmington so much. However, we’ve had such a great experience with COA as a company, I knew I could trust the company through the transition.

Without a doubt, the transition has been seamless. Ms. Liz and Ms. Asce have been so welcoming and excited to have our family! They welcomed us with open arms and made us feel comfortable right away and I knew it was a great decision. Their communication has been fantastic and I cannot say enough good things about how they have made me feel confident in this decision.

Today was day 2 of us being there. Ms. Marisol and Ms. Deyanira were SO excited to see my daughter. Ms. Marisol was so supportive of me yesterday when I dropped my daughter off and I knew right away that she would be in great hands!

I don’t trust my children with just anyone and it is a big commitment to send them somewhere 40+ hours a week. I have been very satisfied with the COA organization overall and can’t wait to continue our great experience at this location!

We couldn’t be happier with Children of America! Our daughter absolutely loves going there and adores her teachers, Ms. Cristal, Ms. Jannette, and Ms. Valerie. They make every day exciting with fun, engaging activities. The facility is always spotless, and it’s clear that the director, Liz, genuinely cares about the staff, children, and parents. We highly recommend this daycare to any parent looking for a nurturing, safe, and fun environment for their child!

Miss Teresa and Miss Darla are absolutely wonderful! You can tell that it’s not just a job to them. They truly love and care for our little ones and always make sure to keep us parents informed whether it’s their favorite food or activity! Miss Teresa and Miss Darla keep me and most importantly my child at ease. Coming from a first time mother as well as first time having my son in daycare I can confidently say that my sons teachers are the absolute best!

We appreciate COA! I had a 5 and 2 year old at another daycare center, and we were having a less than stellar experience. We decided to make the change to COA, even though my 5 year old only had 3 months until school started. And boy am I glad we did. We feel so much more comfortable with management and care givers here. My now 3 year old has Miss Lisbeth and Miss Jackie, who are great. Although honestly, every provider we have been exposed to here is great.

I use to love having my child enrolled here back in 2021 when Ashley and Lauren were management. I also was a staff member and felt loved, recognized, and RESPECTED. As management began to change in the beginning of2024 the place went down hill FAST. I mean, abusive teachers, my child screaming not wanting to step foot into the building, the new director LYING to the parents, Limiting camera access to the abusive teachers room and even COVERING FOR HER. As an employee I did not feel respected, recognized, or even cared for. As a parent, I knew my child was going backwards with behavior, learning and her self esteem.
I HATED having my child there and couldn’t get a new center fast enough. My child was SCARED of the new director, the teacher that was abusive and CRIED every drop off. There are MAJOR blind spots in all the classrooms, and the phones NEVER work. The new director & new staff have a really bad attitude as well. Which is why I’m RELIEVED AND GLAD that I got ME AND MY CHILD out of there as quick as possible.

I would not recommend this place to my worse enemy. The sister school, Children of America in Wilmington is the best option. Or ANY other centers in this area.

We love COA Hockessin! Our teachers Ms.Jannette and Ms.Cristal are the best. Our babes have been with them since they were infants and young toddlers. They are always doing creative learning activities even with the infants. They are incredibly caring and loving. As a working mom there is no greater feeling than knowing your babies are happy and well cared for. They get dropped off with a smile on their face and get picked up with a smile on their face! ❤️
