My love letter to City and Terrace for the most incredible 40th birthday event beyond my imagination 🩷

While planning, every day I had some new, sometimes off the wall ideas for this party. Turning my vision into a (realistic) reality could have been stressful, but turned out to be fun and magical thanks to Lauren (and Ryan)!

The incredible venue took us from sipping spritz’s on a London rooftop, to cheersing in a big city lounge, to tequila shots and dancing in the Vegas club.

Each detail was special and intentional; allowing me to show my gratitude by incorporating so many things I love for people I love. The gifting wall, a nod to all my sports team through custom cocktails, all my favorite foods (and late night snacks) and the perfectly curated music start to finish for club #ARHouse.

The decor just pulled it all together perfectly in ways I beer would have envisioned without them. The photos and glam booth captured so much joy.

The process was so seamless, if I didn’t know they were based in NYC I would have sworn they were in ATL the whole time!

Thank you for making the reality better than the dream 💕 Ready for another excuse to do it all with them again!

I worked with the City & Terrace team to plan my engagement and surprise engagement party that immediately followed. I don’t know what I would have done without them! The day turned out to be exactly what my fiance and I had always dreamed of.

I told Lauren I wanted to propose in the Financial District and wanted a venue within walking distance, but thought I could just kind of figure it out on the fly. After having a quick call with Lauren, she introduced me to so many questions that I hadn’t considered!

Lauren took that information from those questions and contacted local venues to make sure it met both my vision and needs for the day. We did a site-walk and pointed out all of the logistics of how the day would work.

The day of the big question, Lauren was in communication with attendees of how the surprise was going to work and then with the venue to ensure everything was set up correctly.

The day went smoothly and seamlessly from the location of the proposal to the venue to celebrate with our friends and family!

With Lauren handling all of the logistics and details of how the day ran, I was able to be present in the moment to have one of the best days ever!

We are currently working with City & Terrace to plan our wedding welcome party and rehearsal dinner so we can continue to be in the moment.

I’m so excited to be working again with Lauren and City & Terrace and I’d recommend them for any type of event!

We worked with the City & Terrace team to set-up a consultation 4-months before our wedding date. We were overwhelmed with all of the logistics. We wanted to customize print items and personal accessories to make them memorable, and we didn’t know where to start. There were also so many additional tasks to juggle, and it was worthwhile to get professional assistance from City & Terrace. They made the planning process much easier, helped up prioritize, and were very attentive to our needs and vision.

Lauren guided us through a detailed process and helped us understand how specific deadlines are needed for each of those items along the way. After making a game plan, we felt much more at ease about what was needed leading into our big day. She was also conscientious of our budget and found the best ways to incorporate everything we hoped for. We would recommend City & Terrace to anyone, even if it is only for a consultation!! Lauren is really a master at her craft and was excellent at helping personalize our special day!

City & Terrace planned the most amazing end of summer trip for some friends and me in Mykonos. It was one of the best trips I have ever taken! Lauren worked with the group (located in various locations across the USA) to coordinate everyone’s flights. She contacted various hotels to make sure we got the best deal and could all stay at the same place, which was centrally located to nightlife and the water.

Every activity had the entire group in mind and was an amazing time. The views for the dinners and cocktail hours she got us were breathtaking. While each venue was booked near capacity, Lauren worked her magic with different vendors and got us amazing spots for the views.

I cannot thank Lauren enough for how thoughtful she was in planning the getaway!

City & Terrace’s owner planned an entire itinerary for my wife and me to celebrate our first wedding anniversary in NYC. We let Lauren know what major things in the city we needed to see and then let her go to work. Lauren booked a hotel in the area, booked front-row show tickets, and each different dinner reservation was at amazing restaurants! Each place was in different neighborhoods so we were able to get a sense of the local lives of New Yorkers! Cannot recommend City & Terrace highly enough. We felt so spoiled that I don’t think we ever want to plan our own event again!

Their Team was amazing in helping with negotiating with the venue in order to get the best deal and making sure that we did not overlook anything in the contract and asked the right questions on our call/visit. Lauren is also helping us stay on track by providing us with amazing checklists of when different items need to be booked including helping negotiate the room block contract!

We would recommend their Team to anyone especially with their al la carte services! For us, it was the perfect way to get started with wedding planning and stay organized!

They planned my Christmas party, and every detail I could think -- and many I didn't! -- was handled with great depth and care. They coordinated for a group of 30+ people, and everybody had a blast.
