Shar was an ABSOLUTE blast to work with for our wedding and someone we hope we can stay in touch with forever. We had her as our day-of-coordinator and we don't think we could have asked for anyone better. True big sister energy looking out for you in every way. We did not have a bridal party either, so anything that happened was on us or Shar. And Shar did not let us down. We don't believe our day could have been nearly as successful without her.
Need recommendations for vendors? Shar pointed us to the funnest group of people we've had the pleasure of working with. And even the whole process of getting the vendors setup and ready to go was a breeze. Bride gets mud on her dress from the outdoor photoshoot? Shar has multiple sticks of Tide-to-go and was immediately helping get the spot out on the bus back to the venue. And then she brings a great team to the venue, who we could immediately put my trust into the night of and always checking in with us when we needed anything. We honestly can't ask for someone to do more than what Shar brought to the table as she went above and beyond, and we would highly recommend Citygirl Events to help plan your wedding or any event that you want to be awesome.

Shar helped us plan our wedding in 2022 and she was incredible!! So fun and easy to talk to, yet great at staying focused and guiding us through all the complications of wedding planning! I cannot recommend Shar and citygirl enough!! Seriously, I would give her 100 stars if I could. From start to finish, Shar left no stone unturned when it came to planning the wedding of my dreams. She truly gets to know who you are as a bride, like what stresses you out or what is especially important to you, and she tailors her approach to each wedding she plans. Shar made sure everything went PERFECTLY on our wedding day so I was truly able to enjoy the day and not worry about the small details or something going wrong. Not only is she a fantastic wedding planner, she is also a genuinely kind and thoughtful person overall. I consider myself extremely lucky to have met her almost five years ago as my wedding planner and to now also consider her a friend.

I cannot say enough positive things about Sharokina from Citygirl events! I hesitated to hire a planner for my July 2019 wedding because I'm very organized myself and I have high standards, so I thought it might be better to do it myself. I'm also a lawyer, so getting vendor contracts and other details right is important to me. However, Shar exceeded every expectation I had for her (and then some)! Guests are still raving about how amazing she was, and all of our vendors loved working with her as well. We genuinely enjoyed all of the time we spent with Shar and had a blast, but her level of professionalism was what stood out the most. I would not hesitate to hire her for a corporate or non-profit event, given her attention to detail and high standards. She anticipated and took care of every detail and made sure we were able to simply enjoy our day! She has a great network of vendors she works with, but was also constantly on the lookout for new vendors who might better suit our needs. Shar and her team are nothing short of a miracle!! Let me state this first, I am a fellow wedding vendor and have gotten to work with Shar and see not only how smooth she makes a day for her fellow vendors and the guests and of course how amazing she makes everything for the couple on their magical day, but almost more importantly, how effortlessly she makes all the magic BEHIND the curtain seamlessly work together that no one will ever know or see. There is so much that goes into a large event like a wedding, so so so much! When I get to work with Shar, I can immediately stop worrying about the gears and flow of the day and I can focus on my job because I KNOW she is taking care of everything so the couple can simply just enjoy everything, like it should be. Do yourself the favor, and if anything, just reach out and talk to her, and if you get her for your event or wedding, you are extremely lucky!!!

If you are looking for someone you can trust for your upcoming event, I highly recommend Shar and her team. She hired my AV company for a conference in St Petersburg, FL so I am sharing this from a different viewpoint. With both of us at the AV table during the conference, I witnessed Shar interact with ease and confidence with her clients, the attendees, and the multiple guest presenters who came through. Always with a smile on her face. The one take away I will remember most (and we joked a few times about this), is she was well prepared and is really really detail-oriented. And if you are not familar with the event and meeting business, there are a LOT of moving parts and the details are what this industury is about. Needless to say, the conference was a complete success. I was really impressed with Shar and her company!
