Claire and her team played a pivotal role in designing, planning, and executing every aspect of our destination wedding weekend in Charleston, SC. Claire, Maja, and the team were extremely accommodating and helpful throughout the entire wedding planning process. My husband and I have very demanding work schedules, and they were always willing to work around that. From the very first phone call with Claire, I felt so comfortable with her and trusted that she would take care of everything. The team listened to all of our ideas and helped me create a vision of our wedding that was so perfect. They are so organized and keep you on track with vendor deadlines.
On the day of the wedding, Maja and the team were just amazing! Many of our guests came up to us to compliment how helpful they all were and to let us know what a beautiful job they had done. Maja kept us all on schedule, but didn't make us feel rushed at all. They handled EVERYTHING! I got so many stories the day after the wedding of hiccups with guests and the weather that happened that Maja and her team took care of without me even noticing! We didn't lift a finger! Every bride's dream!
I am so happy that we found CDWE randomly scrolling through Instagram very early on during the wedding planning. We felt like the stars aligned when we found Claire Duran and team. They made every single step of the wedding planning process a breeze. We not for a second doubted that every element of our wedding weekend would be executed with the highest level of professionalism, class and care in large part due to the high touch communication and preparedness that went into every meeting and conversation leading up to the wedding. Needless to say, we were right. The team's elevated services, attention to detail, and passion for making a dream wedding come to life are unmatched. Our wedding was beyond our wildest dreams. They listened to our vision and delivered. They heard our concerns and addressed. They went above and beyond expectations and did everything in their power to make our wedding week stress-free for, not only ourselves, but also our guests. They are worth every penny and MORE. What can I say I’m speechless! Claire and her team outdid themselves!! The venue, the ceremony, the entire weekend, the decor, the precision, the staff, the food, the music etc.. everything was beyond spectacular! We would have never ever been able to pull this off without this amazing team! We are beyond grateful for all of their hard work and all the long hours they took into making our wedding so special and beautiful! They never said no to anything nor stressed about anything!! If you are someone like me who reads reviews to get an insight into what it would be like to work with someone, please know this review only encourages you to hire Claire and her team, CEREMONIA, for your special day. Firstly, Claire was kind enough to give us our refund due to a family member getting covid and being admitted to the hospital. As you have probably read, some wedding vendors have been harsh when it comes to refunds due to covid, yet Claire without hesitation understood our circumstances and told us we could come back when ready -in which we did! It was such a great way for us to see that we really wanted to work with a team of people who want nothing more than to see us have our special day and are understanding and kind.
When it came to planning, Liz and Claire were open to all my ideas, last minute changes, and on getting more information for me on something if I requested it. They never made me feel like any request was too much - they did offer their opinion, but they always made me feel like I had the final say in what I wanted and when it comes to wedding planning, there’s no better way to go than with a team who truly wants what will make you happy. I would not have felt as confident in my day if I was pressured to go one way or another. They were even open with me possibly going a different route if I did not want to work with one of their recommended vendors -which, their recommended vendors provide the best quality of work (her florist and photographer are the best) and are great people to have been around on our wedding day. There was one vendor in which we had a miscommunication with early on due to covid protocols and her and her team handled it so professionally, in which we were able to learn that it all was just, truly a communication error. It would have felt awful to feel like a special part of our wedding wasn’t important to a vendor, but with the way they handled it we realized every vendor right now has a lot on their plate with navigating new ways of doing things.
Our wedding day was perfect to us and Claire quickly helped out in any way she could and she was truly a reassuring force to everyone with her friendly demeanor and giving a helping hand to anyone who needed it. Liz is someone on her team who I worked closely with as well and when things would get a bit confusing in the planning process (my own head) she was always there to bring things back to order. Liz and Claire are like a ying and yang in which each of them knows how to handle distinct parts of the wedding planning process, and when combined, makes for one truly, elegant experience. I am so happy I got to work with them as they have done nothing but be kind to me during my moments of worry with planning a wedding during a pandemic. It was an intimate affair, and classy, and perfect to us -and we know that’s because of choosing CEREMONIA (Claire & Liz) for our planning needs!

We were so lucky to stumble on CDWE in our search for a wedding planner. Having quite a demanding work schedule, we needed someone who was flexible, easy to communicate with (think 'WhatsApp' for quick/urgent questions), collaborative, a true professional with a huge network of vendors, someone with a keen eye for design, and someone to keep us on track throughout the planning process. With Claire and her team, we got all of this and more! The CDWE team takes extreme pride in what they do, and they worked hard towards meeting our goals and creating a perfect wedding for us based on our vision, priorities, and budget - quite a challenge! In the end, I honestly couldn't imagine our wedding without the help of CDWE. It was a perfect event, with beautiful décor that represented our elegant and romantic style. I would say that design and aesthetics are some of CDWE's biggest strengths, along with coordination and planning (needless to say). We are beyond grateful for CDWE's flexibility (at first we wanted a destination wedding, then we changed to local even five months out, then we changed the timing to about 10 months out to allow more family to attend). They were so kind to accommodate all of our changes and requests. In the end, we truly had the most perfect and memorable wedding. We highly recommend CDWE to everyone - it's well worth it!

There is one word to describe Claire and her team – AMAZING! From the moment we did our zoom meeting with Claire to meet her we felt like we had known her for years. She made us feel like we were more then just clients and that she had our back for our entire wedding planning. We worked with Claire and her team for a year planning our special weekend in the Dominican Republic and they made everything seem so easy and seamlessly. They did an amazing job bringing our vision to life and exceeded everything we dreamed of. With a 400+ guest list it was not an easy job to coordinate everything and have everything run so smoothly. Claire and her team made us feel so important and special and relaxed the entire weekend which was the most important part. They really go above and beyond for their clients, and I cannot express my gratitude for everything they did for us. We will remember my wedding weekend for the rest of our lives thanks to Claire and her team! I highly recommend working with Claire and her team, truly the best in the business!
