Lots of dresses to choose from, helpful and patient staff. I ordered my Mother of the Bride dress from Claires. Just like anywhere it is hard to envision what a dress will look like when you are ordering in a color/size other than what is available at the store but the staff was very accommodating and put me in multiple gowns by the same designer to try and get the idea of what I could expect. The sample was navy and I ordered the taupe hoping that it would compliment the pewter Bridesmaid dresses and it was perfect. The store has decent parking, large areas where you can walk and see how your dress will move and the staff is very helpful getting you in and out of the gowns. They have an interactive website where you can see what they have in stock and save if you want to try it on at your appointment and the staff reviews your account and pulls the gowns before you arrive which is very helpful. I never felt any pressure to buy anything and I visited multiple times before I made up my mind. I would recommend Claires to anyone looking for a special event gown, they have an older building but they make the best use of their space and have a huge selection of current styles. Their stock is well cared for and organized and the salon is clean.

I bought my prom dress here and the staff and environment was so inviting. My consultant actively listened to me and paid close attention to my likes and dislikes. I was able to comfortably try on a variety of options with her help. Overall, I highly recommend shopping at Claire’s for prom, weddings, or any other special events!

Highly recommend Claire’s. They offer a huge variety for bridal and event/prom dresses. Riley, one of their bridal managers, is so knowledgeable and personable. I can’t recommend her enough when you are starting the search for your dream dress.

Claire’s is the ONLY place I go to for any formal event! The staff is very kind and professional. The environment is positive, clean, and fun! Claire’s has the best selection of dresses. Claire’s has amazing quality dresses and their selection is extensive. The best formal wear fashion boutique in Delaware by far! From prom to weddings you can’t go wrong. The staff is super helpful and professional. I would recommend going to Claire’s to anyone looking for a formal gown/ wedding dress!

I cannot express enough how great Clare’s Fashions customer experience is. The staff is very patient, friendly, and passionate in finding your dream dress, whether it be, bridal, prom, mother of the bride, evening wear, etc. My daughter purchased her wedding dress, and I purchased my MOTB dress. Love the accessories they have too for purchase. You can ask to see how a bracelet, earrings, or necklace looks with the dress. This definitely will be my go to place for future evening wear. LOVE you guys. Thank you, Julia for helping with my dress.

We didn't have the experience we were hoping for when shopping for my daughter's bridal gown. Although the consultant was nice, she had no idea about 1) what my daughter liked/disliked after trying on some dresses, 2) what material the dresses were made of, 2) prices of dresses. When we got there she asked my daughter about her likes and dislikes. One dislike was strapless dresses, but my daughter said she'd try one on. That led to many strapless dresses being brought out by the consultant. And when the dresses were hung up for my daughter to go through on the rack, her maid-of-honor and I weren't allowed to look through the selection with her. I was told there "are too many people back here." Yet, the other bride who was trying on dresses and her maid-of-honor were looking at their selections on the rack. Why could they all look together and we couldn't? Nothing the consultant brought out was wowing us. Granted, my daughter wasn't sure what she wanted, but she was giving some direction of what she liked and didn't like. The consultant just wasn't bringing anything that fit the bride's description. About 1/2 hour before the end of our consultation, the consultant gave us a binder to look through. We selected some dresses. Two of them we were told, "NO! They are too heavy." (My daughter is having a summer wedding.) So, we couldn't even try them on to see if the style was something my daughter would like. Not even an option. And whenever we asked what material a dress was, the consultant said, "I'm not sure." And we were never given prices of dresses. Instead, I had to ask. And when I did ask, I was told, "I believe it's" and then a price. Yet, watching the other bride, her consultant was telling her about the fabric, pricing, etc. Based on our experience, I would NOT recommend Claire's. Such a shame as it came recommended. And we wasted $25 that had to be paid in order to make an appointment. We won't be going back and I'll be telling folks to go elsewhere.

Went to Claire’s Fashions today and had a wonderful experience shopping for a Mother of the Groom dress. Christina was excellent! She was patient, professional, and extremely pleasant! I said “Yes” to the dress. And I feel good about my purchase.
