I got English class with "Frank Hernsndez",
Its awful and the worst teacher i have seen!
It was my first experience with collin college , i never get English class in collin college again!
I wasted my time wnd money.😞😞😞😞

The school is nice and clean. I went here for their Dental Assistant program.
Let's start by saying that my teacher was awesome, she was super nice, chill, and helpful. However, the class... Not so much. It was a 13 week program classes where twice a week, for 3 hours. We had NO labs, Instruments or mannequins to practice on. We had no hands on, the only way we even saw the instruments was because our teacher brought them from her work to class to show us. The textbook was included in the cost, and we did go over the whole book, but the fact that there was no hands on is what REALLY hurt! We would watch YouTube videos, and read over material in the text book, and have the teacher talk about her everyday life in the office... but that's it. I've been struggling trying to find a job for months now... with NO luck. I don't have enough skills for someone to want to hire me without having to go through the whole training process with me, so I've decided to go back to school for Dental Assistant at ANOTHER school here in the DFW area. I loved Collin College for my Associate Degree, but their Dental Program... totally disappointed. I even talked to the school after I graduated if they could help me find a job or refer me to a place more willing to train... nope. They didn't have ANY Information that could help me.. I would suggest anyone who's looking at going here to keep looking! Find another school! It's not worth it.

The Continuing Education Instructors are awesome. I have come in contact with several and they really know their stuff. Personal experience in the real world and keeping up with the changes occurring in their fields. WOW! Can't beat the education you receive at Collin College for the low cost.
Yes, there is the option for out of county students to take classes in the Continuing Education Department. Call their CE Campus.

You can't beat the price for the quality of education you receive here. In addition to offering traditional college courses, this location has continuing education courses (languages, computers, electrical wiring, etc.) for adults. The building is modern. The faculty are experienced in the subjects that they teach. Many do so to pass along knowledge rather than as their primary means of earning a living. Restrooms are clean. There's a lounge area with vending machines on the second floor. The parking lot is well-lit and there's also an adjacent garage for those who do not want to park outside.

The website is ridiculous. Overly complicated to sign up for a course . After getting frustrated with the website called to signed up for a course . The catalogue says the course starts on March 9 which is a spring break week and while signing up the lady didn't even mention about the class start date changes. Neither they called me up to make sure the class starts after the springbreak week. We cancelled our spring break plans because of the course and also cancelled my sons soccer practice the same day . Drove 25 minutes to the college and all I get is sorry 😐 . Also I wish they have courses during daytime for people who are not working while the kids are at school . They also charge extensive for small small course even though 2 courses can done together and make money out of it . Anyway I usually don't post reviews but this one really made me upset.

This place has the most annoying financial aid process ever!!! They ask for things no other institution has ever asked for. It’s ridiculous. The website is constantly outdated and the complete registration process is a joke. I don’t understand what they do here and why they require so much personal information. My financial aid has already been approved yet I can’t register even though I have no holds on my account and they are requesting w-2s. Why? I’ve already given you the transcript. The process takes too long. I’ve been trying to register for at least 1 year, I miss deadlines because they always come back asking for ridiculous documents and the website isn’t very informative on deadlines, it’s usually outdated. They need to do better. I’m required to gather up all of this info that I’m sure they don’t need in order for them to give me financial aid that doesn’t even come out of their pockets, then the least they could do is keep the website updated and process things accordingly. Stop giving me the run around. Get it together because it’s starting to look sketchy.

I attended the Courtyard campus in Plano and I was very impressed.
The school was very clean, with lunch rooms, clean bathrooms, 2 levels with various classrooms.
Really felt like a college.

This has been, by far, the worst experience we have ever had with any institution of higher learning. Personally I am a former adjunct professor for two other Community Colleges in North Texas. I have two degrees from Major four year Universities. My have Has a degree from a four year University. My Daughter has just graduated from a four year University. My Son is currently enrolled in a four year university and is taking classes at CCCC over the Summer. They have been unhelpful, dishonest, refused to explain their policies, uncooperative, and even though we have financial aid approved, they refuse to accept it because they want paperwork that NO OTHER INSTITUTION has EVER asked for. (We are very familiar with FAFSA and all of the required documentation) We will never darken their door step again. Get over yourselves CCCC.
