When we walked in there were a lot of boxes piled in the lobby. We got to our room. It was spacious. There was a weird room off of the main room with a table in it. Very odd. The mirror had been taken off the wall. It was propped between the safe and closet. You couldn’t use it. The ceiling in the bathroom was rusted. There was very little hot water. Their hot water heaters cannot handle all of the rooms. Their breakfast was horrible. No coffee. Waffle mix did not cook correctly. Biscuits, eggs, and sausage looked disgusting. The only positive was the front desk guy was nice.

I came to stay during an out of town visit. The photos are nothing like the way the hotel actually looks.
The room had tea bags in the vents, (The room smelt horrible) the bathroom made a loud noise, the closet was broke, the toilet was loose, the room was dirty. It was to the point, I didn’t feel comfortable eating in the room nor bringing in my stuff. The beds were hard as a rock and majority of the TV stations did not work. I didn’t feel safe at this hotel. I asked for a refund and was told no. This was within 5 mins after checking in. It’s definitely not worth what we paid for a night.

This is what I'd call a TRAP MOTEL!! Filthy!! Our room had torn, SHREDDED drapes, toilet paper shoved in a hole in the bathroom and the door in the bathroom looks like a dog had been locked in there and tried to scratch its way out. There was mold growing on the ceiling. The sink did not turn off completely. Toilets are lined up on the side of the building. Breakfast was uneditable. I ONLY RESERVED A ROOM HERE BECAUSE OF THE POOL, IT WAS OF COURSE CLOSED BECAUSE IT HAS NOT BEEN INSPECTED, THE ELEVATOR IS A YEAR PAST INSPECTION DATE. Don't waste your time or money, it's literally highway robbery! All of these issues have been a thing for months & months, they comment on the bad reviews & say the complaints will be addressed, clearly that is not the truth!

Do not recommend if your not accepting of bugs! Saw 3 cockroaches in the bathroom. The toilet was not attached to the floor suspecting they came up through the hole there. The exhaust fan in the bathroom has never been cleaned either! Aside from the terrible bathroom condition, the beds were comfortable, and for that I'm giving the rating a 2 star.
We brought up our concerns to the front desk and we're told that's alabama for you. No compensation offered.

Our rooms were clean, beds comfortable, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. This hotel is older, very much in need of refurbishing, the breakfast was standard but sparser than most. Probably wouldn’t choose here again (depending on other options) but adequate for an overnight.

Stayed in May 2025. The hotel is in terrible need of renovations. The TVs in the room didn't work and somehow they didn't have wifi. When I told the front desk that the pool needed towels, they still weren't there the next day. The breakfast was AWFUL. Literally couldn't bring myself to eat anything. The week before, I'd stayed at another comfort inn and been very happy, this one was TERRIBLE in comparison. Someone from the parent company needs to do something about it ASAP.

First room reeked of smoke, like we opened the door and it was like someone was sitting there smoking. So they went to find us another room, the lady opened the door and someone was in there. Third room we got needed maintenance, but our options were maintenance room or smoke room. The hotel definitely needs to be fixed up and modernized, lights flicker, water runs, not good

Very conveniently located, just off the I-65, (plumb on exit 332 if I remember that correctly). Nice and clean rooms, although the hotel is old and needs some maintenance and facelift here and there. The team of Samantha and Mercy that greeted us at the reception was great. Samantha also guided us about the site seeing in the area. Thanks to the team for the nice stay and the breakfast.

Forgot to add this previously: One of the other good things about this place was a nice coffee table book in the room about the history and other details of the region that can help the tourists. This is something I don't remember seeing in any other hotel that I have stayed in before.
