This hotel is under new Management and is making great improvements. I’ve been here quite a few times in the last 18 mos and this most recent visit far surpasses previous experiences. New updated staff, better overall smell (not trying to hide something) cleaner rooms. Water is only warm but sufficient. Still improvements to make after previous bad management but well on the way to greatness. Bravo Heather

I dont usually leave a negative post but this hotel is not great or even good. The only saving grace was the breakfast was edible and it was conveniently located downtown. The employees all act like they hate their jobs and aren't really very helpful. The towels and bed spread were all staind and disgusting looking. It looked like someone at some point tried to kick the door in on our room. And they dont tell you up front there is a fee to park in their lot. The fire alarm went off at 7am which would have been great if there had been a fire. Ive stayed at several comfort inn suites most of them have been great. Not this one.

We stayed two nights during a weekend trip to Pittsburgh. The hotel staff were very nice and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. It was a great value for the price. We will definitely stay again on our next trip to Pittsburgh.

Noticed an open van with car seats and no one around in the parking lot. Concerned, we tried to give the plate number to the front desk and they brushed us off instead of simply taking the plate number and calling the room of the vehicle owner. Hope they're okay.

It’s hard to even know where to start. When my daughter and I walked in another women staying at the hotel warned us to turn around…and if we checked in to examine our rooms “really good” (I should have left then!!) This place is a dump, stains on the walls and curtains, hair in the tub and MICE!! Lastly, the deadbolt wouldn’t even latch properly so there is a major safety concer. It smells bad, the trash cans are overflowing and the staff is rude. We cut our stay short and immediately switched to another hotel it was that bad. I was up from 2am on jusy making sure my daughter was safe until morning. When I asked the staff member (after the mouse incident) if she could just cancel my second night’s stay since we were leaving, she said no because I prepaid. Do not take a chance with this place!!!!!!!!

The rooms are tidy and clean. The staff was exceptional thus far.

And when I had an issue to resolve, the management reached out and took care of it immediately. Definitely recommend.

For a hotel in the price range of this Comfort Inn they provided a 5-star experience. The room was comfortable, every member of the staff polite, helpful and eager to make the experience pleasant. Add breakfast to that and you get my hearty recommendation. Thanks to all the staff at Comfort Inn Northshore.

I stayed just for a night & had no issues right before Christmas. My boyfriend & I decided to come back & stay around NYE for his birthday celebration. Anyways, we get to our room & it was clean. the only complaint was the water was not that warm, warmish. Around 5:00 AM I woke up to the sound of the trash bag moving. Woke my boyfriend up & A MOUSE comes out from behind the garbage can. We go downstairs move rooms & get some sleep. we go out for the day & it’s NYE now, so we were getting ready to go out & i swore I saw another one but we moved things around & couldn’t find anything in the area. Well, about 2 hours later, my boyfriend then sees another MOUSE & keep in mind, we did switch rooms that same day (Stayed in 411 & got moved to 510). if you want to share space with MICE go for it. definitely a no for me! Sucks though, cause the staff was very friendly.
