Very clean! This hotel is kind of old, so there was a little shabbiness, but that was overlookable because everything was spotless. The beds and pillows were comfy and the room had all that wee needed. But best of all, the staff went above and beyond. They were friendly and helpful. When my daughter left her phone in the room to go run an errand, I called the front desk to see if she had left yet, and the young woman at the desk actually offered to go after her and then she did! Wow! As we were leaving in the morning, the front desk clerk offered to print a receipt for me and jumped right up to get it. These days, just getting requests met is good, so having these two kind people offer their help was refreshing. Recommend 10/10

Where to start? Well Shame on me for not reading reviews but I never had a problem with Comfort Suites before so I didn't feel the need. Check in went fine, the woman friendly and the lobby looked great. However when I entered the room it reeked of mold. I turned on the air to see if it was just stale air and I left for dinner. I returned and it was the same. I lifted the cushions on the sleeper sofa and it was gross. I can guarantee these sleepers were rained on after being dropped off in the parking lot waiting to be put in these rooms. I have seen them in a couple parking lots over the years. I asked to be moved and she gave me another room which was better. But when I entered the pool access, the mold smell was as bad as I have ever seen. The funny thing is a man was given my old room and apparently didn't have my sense of smell. Stay at the Holiday Inn or the Hampton Inn, they're much cleaner.

Mostly clean room (stain on couch that I covered with a towel) otherwise it was pretty clean. Decent enough breakfast (ends at 9am tho), had a room on 1st floor and at the end of the hallway this time so it made trips to go have a smoke very convenient. The maid was a very nice lady, got us squared away with toiletries and whatnot quickly and without hassle.

The rooms were DISGUSTING! Floors were sticky, stained and wet couches, crumbs everywhere. We had to request a room change because the first room was that bad. The second room we stayed in was decent enough to sleep for a few hours and leave. The staff were all very polite especially the maids, they don’t clean at all but very kind. There was also a loud industrial buzzing sound all night coming from the room behind us. We were just passing through and will not stay here on our return trip. Location of the hotel was good but there were like 6 more hotels in the plaza so I recommend trying them instead. They also charged me for my service animal to stay with me. Overall this is a $50 a night hotel, not $180.

Great place to stay while in Texarkana.
Rooms are clean, the pool was great, and staff was friendly. Couldn’t have asked for more. Service was amazing. The only thing I could say is you may have a lot of towels in the room so if you got two people it’s not gonna be conducive. And the TV size it’s very small so if you’re into watching TV, you’re not gonna be able to see the words on the TV.

I am so happy with our stay. We stopped here after a 12 hour drive and let me just say that this place deserves its name! It was so comfortable, and clean. The room’s temperature was perfect and the staff was so nice and warm. Even the breakfast was very complete!

I have no complaints, would 100% recommend!

Beware of scam. This hotel makes unauthorized charges on your card during your stay and days after your stay. My room charge was suppose to be $113.62 At checkin, they charged me $188.62 and claimed it was an incidental charge, tho they have no bar or restaurant. By the time I got to my room, they had charged me another $75. I went to the front desk to inquire, and the girl said I needed to talk to management and offered no explanation. That was a Friday night, and now on Monday morning they’ve hit me with another unauthorized charge for $113.62.

Tango Hotel

During a 13 hour drive we decided to break and spend the night. I called the main line at 7 pm on a Friday and was able to make my reservation and lock down a room while still an hour + out.
Upon arrival the receptionist was friendly and helpful
The rooms were clean and appeared to be well kept. There was no smell of ‘musty-ness’ or various others stankiness that I have experienced at other times.
I was impressed with the size of the rooms. Two queen beds, a sitting couch, an L shaped sofa and a long desk. There was ample lighting throughout the room. We adjusted the a/ c to 68°, at it kept it there.
There is a minimalist breakfast served, but sufficient for those who eat in the morning. Note, zero bacon, dang.
Overall, it was a very nice break spot and it worked out well for us.
