We absolutely loved staying at the cottage on the lake. It has everything you need to have a relaxing vacation by the lake. It was clean, beds were comfortable, and had everything needed in the kitchen to prepare meals. It also had so many nice outdoor features such as a big yard for the kids to play, a great back deck, campfire in the woods by the lake, private beach access, great fishing, and is only about 20 minutes from Presque Isle. So many things to do. Also the homeowners were great. Diane was very helpful with anything we needed during our stay and always responded very quickly to any questions we had. We were very pleased with the whole experience. We'll definitely be back!

We had a fabulous 2 week stay at the Cottage on the Lake. The setting is very private and the views are stunning. The cottage is well appointed with everything you need for a fun vacation. The location is a short drive to Presquisle and Erie. There is a lovely little park to walk to with another beach, nice shelters and playground. Beautiful sunsets every night. 5 stars!!!

This was a beautiful house on lake Erie, I booked this house for a 2 night stay. Full kitchen 1 bathroom and a very roomy corner shower. The hosts of the property have a nice set up of VHS and DVD movies if you decide to stay in. A TV with access to Netflix and Hulu if you desire. Awesome kitchen with coffee maker and Keurig. The outside of the property has a nice deck to sit and relax, a BBQ grill and a very short walk to a fire ring where you can grab some drift wood from the lake front and have a majestic or romantic sit around the fire you've made. The walk to the lake is about 2 minutes from the top of the property, you are overlooking the lake so there is a walk down what I'd call the nature trail to the lake. You are close to many amenities for starters. Presque isle which is about 25 minutes east, you are about 10 minutes to the Ohio border and there are shops in all directions. literally to the right of the house is raccoon park , if you stay here just walk over to the park. I would DEFINITELY rebook this property in a heartbeat.

We've stayed here twice for our girl's weekend away and loved the cozy, clean atmosphere. We enjoy the fireplace and views of Lake Erie.

10/10 A+! The house is rarely passed by cars so even the open yard feels off the beaten path. The private beach is very nice, it's connected to a public beach but the private property signs keep most people pretty far away and there's a nice treeline that makes it feel very hidden and secluded. Would highly recommend!

My family of three has stayed six times at the Cottage on Lake Erie over many years, in different times of the year. Each visit has been special and memorable. It’s a beautiful property, lovingly cared for, with great amenities and decor.

The cottage is wonderful for relaxing and enjoying the lake. It is close to Erie, PA and Conneaut, OH but away from the busyness of everyday life. The owners are great at making sure the cottage is everything you want for a relaxing vacation. Don’t hesitate and miss out on this hidden treasure!

This place is the best place to relax and unwind. The view is amazing. The lake access to swim and explore is great. The cottage was clean, organized, and well stocked. It is away from it all but places are not far for things to do. Our whole family had a wonderful time. Definitely worth it!!
