This hotel was located next to and within walking distance to many good restaurants where you could have breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The hotel was clean and the staff friendly. My only gripe is that my room didn't have a coffee maker and was left to buy coffee downstairs. I would recommend this hotel to others.

We stayed at this location because it was close to the job site we were working at. This hotel is just okay. Nothing special about it. The beds are hard and uncomfortable. Needs updating. The carpet in the rooms have stains on them. The bathroom could use a refresh. There were stains on the textured part of the walls. We also had to ask for towels twice. We also noticed some stains on the original towels in the room. Staff are pleasant but not the greatest customer service.

Avoid at all cost. Drove 3 1/2 hours. I had a reservation for 12-15 March at Courtyard Anniston Oxford Alabama. We had a group of 5 of us. 3 of us were informed we were moved to a hotel 13 minutes away. We are there for work. All traveling together. 4 in one vehicle. We were transferred to a non Marriott hotel in downtown Anniston. Totally unsat. Very inconvenient. Bad neighborhood. Terrible excuse of why we were moved. Promised points for our inconvenience but never got anything. Very disappointed in Marriott. Been a loyal customer for years. Will be looking at Hilton and Holiday Inn in the future.

I am not usually one to write reviews but my level of frustration justifies it. Due to the (in my opinion) better Marriott (Fairfield) being sold out, I had to move to the Courtyard. I arrived at the hotel at 11:20am. I was told there would be no rooms until check in time of 3pm. I asked if he could just let me know if one became available and I got another “It won’t be until 3 but okay”. No worries. I ask if they can hold my bag while I go across the street for lunch. Nope. Not able to do that either. I did leave my bags in the lobby to get takeout. 3pm rolls around and rooms still aren’t ready. There’s about 13 people in the lobby now and I was the first one there for now almost 4 hours. At 3:15 they finally had all of the rooms suddenly ready at once to check people in. Instead of doing it of who was there first, people just started lining up. I’m frustrated because I had been waiting for 4 hours for a room vs someone who arrived 20 minutes prior and got one first. This is not how this should be done and I am a bit irritated. We all got a “Thank you for your patience”.

Shout out to the front desk employee, Mia.
She went above and beyond for us when we were unfortunate enough to encounter a missing reservation set up by the company travel group my son works for.
Although we had to make different accommodations for our first night, the remainder of our time I. The area was spent at the Courtyard by Marriott Anniston/Oxford.
Mia was beyond helpful and overly apologetic for an issue that was not her fault. The family is relocating to the area and she offered great insight about good areas and schools… doctors and hospitals.

The hotel lobby was clean and had wonderful aroma throughout.
The room was large and the beds were comfortable.
The linens had some wear and likely should be cycled out…the room we had sat on the interstate side of the building so there was some highway noise, but other than that no complaints about the room itself. The air conditioning were perfectly, and I love an ice cold room.

If ever back in the area I would stay at this property again.
