The rooms were spacious and comfortable. My children loved the pool which was very great and the hot tub next to it so we could keep an eye on them.
The complementary breakfast was the most enjoyable and delicious that I have ever eaten at a hotel. Very simple and yet tasty.
The staff were accommodating and sweet. The location was super convenient to travel and find our way around. Two thumbs up for me and would definitely come back.

Wow. I did not expect this. What a modestly priced gem. Clean large rooms. Friendly hardworking staff and they even have a bar. The pool area, gym and outdoor area are also well kept!

Very nice hotel, location is good, close to pretty much everything you need, room is quite nice and clean, the receptionist are nice and attentive. The workout space could have been bigger and swimming pool is a bit smaller.

It definitely seems like a nice patio to hang out and the outdoor swimming pool looks quite nice.

Visited Lancaster several times but this was our first time at the Marriott. Staff was pleasant, location is not bad but the mediocre review is rooted in a lack of VALUE. There was a wedding which likely played into vacancy that drove prices up. No problem paying for a great stay and experience however rooms were dated and there were no “extras” such as complimentary continental breakfast, daily room turnover etc, etc. Light cleaning is evident but notwithstanding the needs for a deep clean throughout. Found bugs in the gym, spider webs on lights in the hallway lights and room windows and not sure what was going on with some substances in the shower. Hot tub was heavily chlorinated but masking again the lack of a deep clean which was clearly evident on the no diving sign. Not trying to be harsh but we spent $700+ for a 2 night stay and have some regrets. 😊

Positive: Staff was nice. Room was nice Negative: Pool was freezing cold. Couldn't even swim in it. Hot tub was cold couldn't use it for it's intended purpose. There was also no continental breakfast

Clean room. Helpful staff. Nice little pool and bubble tub. Not the closest hotel to Sight & Sound Theater but definitely a very nice hotel. Well worth the extra 5 minute drive. First all solar powered Marriott in the United States.

I tried to work with the accounting department on an error they made in billing. It was a bad experience and they still have not corrected it. I would not recommend this location. It is the worst I've come across in the Marriott brand.

My husband and I, being Bonvoy members, have stayed at this hotel for years. The front desk staff has always been friendly and helpful and the rooms were always consistently clean and comfortable. We have noted that that consistency has been failing over the last few years. One visit we were given keys to our room and found an open pizza box, with pizza still in it, on an unmade bed. The front desk quickly addressed that and moved us to a better room. This last visit showed more more inconsistency. The most frustrating thing, was the lack of proper lighting in the room. There is no overhead light when entering the room, and where the only mirror, outside of the bathroom, is in the room. It is impossible to see and make use of that mirror with the bathroom door closed. Then every single lamp in the room seems to have a 40 watt bulb, really difficult to see things, especially in the dark wooden closet. We had the room cleaned and linens refreshed once during our visit, and I was surprised that our room looked and smelled so clean unlike when we first entered our room after checking in. We had an outlet near the bed that didn't work, a refrigerator that had an issue with an leg would fall forward when opened, and a phone that couldn't connect to guest services or the front desk. We also had a sink faucet that has hard to find the right temp, it was either scalding hot or cold. I am surprised how hot the water got, and would warn any parent to ensure you check the water temp before having your child wash their hands or step in the shower. ||The front desk and all the other employees at this hotel and nice and helpful. ||We will be looking at other options for our next visit, the lighting really made this visit difficult.
