Don’t be fooled by the outward perception-looks like a newer or certainly same-recent hotel.

Frigid water temperatures, even though hardly any other guests were staying at the hotel-and I attempted this over for 90 minutes.

Housekeeping is apparently too busy to refill the toiletries locked into the walls in the shower-so no body wash for the hypothermia-inducing shower. I don’t understand how a corporation this size doesn’t have better accountability processes in place for their teams.

No apologies and a severe lack of care when I stood at the front desk and had to cough and loudly say “excuse me” 3 times, just to get someone to get out of a chair, walk out of the office, and come to the front desk, to even hear about my stay.

I doubt I’ll be spending 100 nights a year at a Marriott point forward. Time to explore Hilton or another brand, with higher standards and service levels. The unfortunate thing is that Marriott never used to be this way. I don’t know if COVID broke them or if they are just cutting corners, but not even close.

Soap and a shower should one be too much to ask for; when you’re fishing out $150-$200 a night for a room.

I switched rooms twice. The first time was my preference of not being by the elevator. The second room had a visibly dirty bed spread. By the time I got into the third room, I was exhausted after traveling all day. I checked the bed and it seemed clean (I later found pen marks all over one of the pillows) so I brought all of my luggage in. I had checked the bathroom briefly, but didn’t see too many issues that my Clorox wipes wouldn’t fix. However, I found many more issues the more I looked. The floor was dirty. The mirror had toothpaste specks. There was blood on the bathroom wall and on the chair. There were lots of obvious areas that weren’t cleaned. I’ve worked in the hotel business before and can tell when the housekeeping staff stops caring and starts getting lazy. Layers of dust on the towel racks. I brought these issues up with the front desk and was told to email the lady the pictures, which I did. She said the floor was dirty because of new tile being laid down and it doesn’t come off. I mentioned that my cleaning wipes took it up with no issues.

I have been patient about posting this because I wanted to give her time to respond, which she didn’t. I didn’t appreciate having a separate charge on my card for parking in their parking lot. Not valet, not covered parking, just an extra charge for occupying a single parking space. I asked what my other parking options were in my email but heard nothing back.

After reading some other reviews, these issues seem to be very common. The manager is simply responding to try to satisfy the reviewer, but offers no respectable explanation or compensation in any form. Do not stay here. They clearly do not care about your stay or try to make right the issues you encounter.

Great location if you're planning on doing shopping at the tanger outlet. Very close to the casino.

Staff was friendly.

The only complaints I have is that there was a used towel hanging up in our bathroom when we got there, the water took a hot minute to warm up in the shower, and the water pressure in the sink was non existent.

But overall, the stay was nice.

Email from the general manager again, trying to say pool wasn’t closed when clearly this sign says pool is closed. If you liked to be treated like you’re unable to comprehend a simple sign. This is the place for you!!! (Pic below)

Follow up to my last review I called and asked for the manager instead I talked to Jordan who argued with me and told me the pool was never closed and if there was a sign on the door it “shouldn’t of been there” I called the front desk and asked about the sign while I was standing there the lady on the phone informed me the pool was in fact closed until at least monday.
So if you like being called a liar this is the place for you.

Included photo with the sign on the door

Hotel is not what it’s advertised to be, hot tub is down for maintenance that isn’t mentioned anywhere on the website or disclosed over the phone, was told breakfast is only included if you book online (we did) it is not included, for the price you pay to stay here expected a lot more. Paid extra for the staycation, wasn’t told anything about what we paid for until we asked but was explained to our friends upon their arrival. No hand soap in the bathroom, took forever for the water to get hot.
Only positive take away is the bed is fairly comfortable. 170 dollars for one night expected a lot more from a big name hotel chain.
Sign on the door the pool was closed and inquired Jordan said it wouldn’t reopen until Monday

We had reserved our handicapped accessible room online but when we arrived we were given a regular room. My 82 yr old father had to make do without a shower for the night. I believe that we should have either not been able to reserve the room if it wasn’t available or we should have received a call informing us of the situation. The other issue with the room was the only mirror was inside the bathroom. The bright point of the hotel was Michelle who worked at the Breakfast Bistro. She was lovely, warm, and friendly. At times she was covering both the front desk and the bistro because even though there seemed to be 2 people working the reception side, they were back in the office and not at the desk most of the time.

Flew in on Thanksgiving for a wedding over the weekend with the family. We had made reservations for dinner at another restaurant because we were told over the phone that their restaurant was closed for Thanksgiving. When we arrived we were told that their restaurant was opened so we cancelled our dinner reservation at the other restaurant. When we came down to order food the one staff member (that was handling the bar, restaurant, and cook) was complaining about being called into work on their day off what was worse is they were out of almost everything. So needless to say half of us didn’t get dinner. What was worse is the bartender did not know how to make drinks. So we bought drinks we couldn’t drink because they really bad.

Our room was a bigger disappointment. Whoever cleaned the room must have only made the bed and take. Out the garbage. Nothing was cleaned. There was white powder on the shelf in the closet. You could see a heavy layer of dust on every surface. The bathroom had brown spots splattered all over the wall by the toilet. The beds are so old that when my wife and I got in bed we were pushed together in the middle of the bed because the springs were so bad in the middle that it was shaped like a bowl. Needless to say it was hard to get any sleep when you’re constantly being pushed into someone.

I went to take a shower and the bottle of body wash was completely empty. So I had to get out of the shower and call down only to be told that I had to come down and get it because the person on the phone was the only person working (at 9pm).

This hotel is poorly staffed and has a serious lack of good management.

Location was great! Staff was trash... the evening we checked in the employee was chatting with a visiting man while he vaped in the lobby. What is irritating is there was zero regard for rules and regulations. Proceeds to get worse with the lack of maintenance at the hotel. Hot Tub "keep away" the flooring of the hot tub filled with what felt like sand and tiny rocks. water pressure in the room "trash" sink took 10min to drain. AGAIN... no maintenance visible at all. Will NEVER STAY AT A MARRIOTT IN PA AGAIN> This location was 1 step away from Motel 6.

Reached there around midnight. The front door closes at 7 pm, thankfully someone was there to open up. Check in and check out (including mobile key) are seamless with no assistance required. Rooms were comfy with all basic needs. No breakfast but we had waffle House nearby so no issues there.
