We stayed in the Beaver Lodge cabin for my Father-in-Law's birthday.
It rained the whole time we were there so sadly we weren't able to do the horse rides. But the moments we had were wonderful. We lit a fire and cooked over it. Felt almost like camping in a way.
My only gripe is that the mattress me and my boyfriend slept on was INCREDIBLY uncomfortable. His parents didn't seem bothered by theirs though.
All the talk in here about the water smelling like sulfer is true. I took a shower and the smell was hard to get over. I don't know what needs to be done to fix that but it was always a present smell in the bathroom.
The sink also was VERY slow draining.

But ultimately I come away wanting to visit again. It is a beautiful property with a beautiful drive in and out of the place. And the horses seemed super friendly.
If it weren't for the mattresses and bathroom this would be a 5/5 place.

We spent a long weekend at the resort for a family reunion. It's such a great spot. The air-conditioned pavilion is a great spot to eat and hang out. The outdoor pool provides relief from the heat and fun for the kids.
The staff is responsive and a pleasure to work with.

Have been here for several events... family reunion, baseball picnic, and graduation party. Lovely place! Beautiful country setting. Catch and release pond, volleyball net, fire ring, very nice enclosed pavilion, and swimming pool. Cabins to rent. Would highly recommend for events.

The cabins are awesome. The house on the hill and the little cottage are not. They need new beds all around. The water smells like sulfer and the little cottage had no running water at all. I only ever physically saw the venue staff at the time of chair pickup. And they were a bit rude when someone asked to leave a few chairs behind for 30 minutes for the older people as pictures were being taken.

Went here for my cousins wedding and WOW, what a beautiful location! Great place for a wedding. The layout of the cabins/pavilion/pond/etc was perfect. The cabins were gorgeous and SO clean. The pond may have been our favorite outside attraction. Definitely going to be booking this location in the future for any large events.

Beautiful area and the cabins were well kept. Very clean and nice landscape. We were there for a wedding reception. The location is definitely out in the country. It's a beautiful drive but very long and windy roads.

The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. Especially enjoyed the fireplace. Provided plenty of fire wood for the fire pit. Watched the fish and turtles in the creek behind the cabin.
The trail ride was exceptional. The instructor picked the perfect horse for our skill levels. Got to see some turkeys on our ride.
Everyone was friendly. Overall a great weekend. Would definitely recommend for a couples getaway.
Only pro/con (depending on how you look at it) was no phone service. But we did have wifi.

Our families rented all the cabins and the house for a long weekend - absolutely loved it! The cabins were all very clean and seemed like new. The house is also beautiful and clean, with a great view. Kids fished the pond and loved the pool, and some also went horseback riding. Something for everyone. Plus the staff were all super. Highly recommend this place!
