Nice hotel in great location near shopping & all amenties. Staff is cheerful & engaged. Rooms are nice and clean but baths are a little dated. Good snack mart & bar/restaurant is nice, food is decent. Pretty lobby and parking is painless. The Crowne Plaza is a gem in a great location that's affordable!

After a number of stays here, I continue to be impressed with this property. The staff is great - from front desk to housekeeping to restaurant.

One comment however: the coffee you serve in the lobby is sub-par. For the nice breakfast buffet that you serve, the coffee needs to be better.

We were checked in by cheerful and knowledgeable Sarah, who continued to assist us over our two-day stay.

I have been familiar with this property for about 55 years (even before it was an IHG facility), and it had seen some pretty dismal days. However, over the past few years, Crowne Plaza really has improved it, both in function and appearance.

(I was bothered that no one did something about a guest sitting at the common table in lobby holding a slobbering small dog on his lap. Many people like to snack at that table.)

Everyone that we encountered was very friendly and helpful. The front desk staff was nice. The breakfast attendants each day were very accommodating and helpful. The hotel was quiet so we could get to sleep easily at night. The shower could use some more power. Need more plugs in the room as well.

We enjoyed our stay. The room was very clean and comfortable. The restaurant downstairs had good drinks and great food at reasonable prices. Our waitress was the best! The area seemed very safe.

Excellent customer service, very pleasant staff. Great location. The room was spacious and clean. The beds were extremely comfortable. If we're ever in the area again would definitely stay at this hotel.

I was at Crown Plaza Suites in Pittsburgh PA for the Horror Realm Con 2025. I got a great birds eye view of the conference areas, restaurant, lobby, and sitting areas on the ground floor. The hotel staff that I interacted with were very nice. I was primarily there for the Con which was incredible. Every inch of space was used, but you could still navigate around the Con areas relatively easy. The vendors were some of the most talented artists that I've ever seen making art with glass, wood, and latex horror character masks. The celebrities were all very kind and charging reasonable fees for autographs and pictures. It was a nice change from other celebrity geared Cons that I have attended. I highly recommend Horror Realm Con in Pittsburgh and Crowne Plaza Suites. I hope that they collaborate next year. I will be back for this Con for sure.

My husband and I stay at this hotel every time we go to see our daughter and her family that live in Bethel Park and have also used it for my daughter's wedding party and guest stay. The staff is amazing, super friendly and very accommodating. The hotel location is in a great part of the city and is easily accessible to restaurants and shopping if needed. Also, over the years they have modernized it and made some great upgrades that make it not only a great place to stay, but also very easy to work from the room if needed. So I highly recommend this location not only for an overnight stay but also if you are away on business and need to work hassle free.
