Kim DeBose is a valuable asset to any bride wanting to create a stress free wedding day. Our wedding was September 2, 2024. As the mother of the bride I initially had no intention on hiring a wedding planer. I had my own ideas on the design plan and the budget for my daughter's wedding day. Six months into the planning process my daughter quickly realized we needed help. The main thing my daughter wanted was for me, Mother of the bride, was to be fully present for her on her wedding day.
In enters Kim, she is professional, thorough, personable and realistic. When planning a wedding there is the dream and then reality hits. Kim made the dream become a reality. She worked in conjunction with several vendors. Watching her integrate timelines and logistics between vendors and our venue made every meeting seamless. Taking care of all of the fine detail gave me a new respect and insight into why her service can alleviate a lot of stress for clients that do not know all of the in's and out of event planning.
I had a lot of personal design items for our wedding. Kim executed there placement and made sure that our florist and the venue worked in tandem to bring the vision to life. Down to the napkin fold and menu card placement.
I was a guest at our wedding. I had the ability to be with my extended family from abroad and our friends. Lets not forget that there is another family ( The new In-Laws) which I wanted to represent well. I received nothing but compliments on a beautiful execution and how organized everything turned out. We were ON TIME, even ahead of time. Be it hair and make up, breakfast or taking first look photos we were on time. Our guest were on time and seated at 2:30pm. The bride was walking down the aisle at 3pm. The perfect start to a fabulous evening. At the end, exhausted from partying, Kim and her team broke down and packed up all of my personal design items into my U-Haul truck. I did not have to look back to collect anything, we left the premises on time and were home ward bound.
I look back on this wedding with pride and feeling the every penny spent was well spent. No regrets. If you want a wedding to remember, Kim is an investment you must have.

We made a last minute decision to get a day of coordinator and we are so happy we did! Kim's team was impeccable, especially given the choas of an Indian wedding. There was a big issue during our reception but I didn't even realize until after the wedding! That's how efficiently her team worked on orchestrating with the vendors to get the issue resolved efficiently. Not only that but Kim was super helpful with our communication to vendors before and after the wedding. She helped us feel organized and relaxed through the end stages of our planning and we are so grateful. Without her team present, we would've been stressed and unable to enjoy our day. I met Kim when she was a guest on my podcast a few years ago, and we’ve been friends and work besties ever since. As a wedding planner, I thought I had everything under control when planning my wedding this past October and didn’t listen to my own advice of “hire a wedding planner!” My intention was to plan and design my wedding and have my assistant execute the intense two ceremony, multi-location event as a lead planner. Kim was supposed to be a guest at my wedding, so I was shocked to see her show up in full work attire on my wedding day ready to dive in. She’d been quietly listening to me vent about the stresses of planning my own wedding in the midst of a busy wedding season, and she knew that there was no way I was going to be able to enjoy my wedding day without someone with experience taking the reins and executing the day.

Kim was able to dive in and execute a wedding that was way outside of the scope of what she was used to flawlessly. From re-configuring the layout to one that better suited the unique space, to communicating with the rental company when they were 10 chairs short, to adjusting the timeline when guests ran late due to traffic. My wedding day was a huge success and it’s truly because of Kim’s experience and execution.

Ive recommended Kim to clients in the past as a colleague, and I am honored to recommend her now from a clients perspective. 💕

Kim is lazy and unprofessional. To call her a planner or coordinator is laughable. She didn't even help the bride with packing up their belongings at the end of the night, and she even forgot the bride's bouquet, and was terrible and lazy about helping out vendors for the event. We were all shocked by her hands-off attitude and disorganization.

Kim planned my wedding for 9/1/23 and it has taken me over 6 months to write a review because I could not think of the words appropriate enough to accurately convey how AMAZING she is! We started the planning process in January 2021, and she stuck through date changes, venue changes, design changes, home purchases, you name it!! Kim was professional yet firm and was always an advocate for myself and my husband. She made sure to keep our wants front in center in every interaction and with all other vendors. Kim literally made my dreams come true while also keeping things realistic and within budget. From our first meeting, I knew my husband and I would be in good hands, and never once did I question the advice she gave. Her industry knowledge, resources and connections are invaluable and worth 5x her fee. My wedding day was stress free and the days and months leading up were enjoyable. Kim made the entire wedding planning process enjoyable. Having a planner was a non-negotiable for me and my wedding planning process. Looking back, I am truly grateful to have had her as a planner and couldn't imagine having to have planned my wedding with anyone else.
