My wife and I took about 7 or 8 dance lessons with Masha (who was great!) in June 2024, leading up to our wedding in early July. As a bit of background, my wife loves to dance, while I had little to no experience when we first walked in the doors of the Dance With Me studio. We worked with Masha over the course of a month, and I have to admit, it was a challenge for me at first. Learning and memorizing the steps wasn’t easy for me, but my wife picked them up much faster than I did—no surprise there! Throughout the entire process, Masha was amazing. She was patient, encouraging, and she was relentless with her positivity and constructive feedback. The weeks we spent training with Masha paid off big time. By the time our wedding day arrived in early July, we were able to perform our dance better than we ever imagined, and it was a huge success! We owe so much of that to Masha and her wonderful teaching. We highly recommend taking dance lessons with Masha, whether you’re experienced or a complete newbie like I was. Thanks, Masha!

Over two years ago I walked into Dance With Me Stamford and it was one of the best decisions I have ever made! Instructors, Sasha and Masha are incredible teachers who are passionate and dedicated to each and every student. Regardless of your dance background or your individual goals, their support and expertise shine through during both private lessons, as well as group classes. Deanna is amazing and makes everyone feel supported and cared for on every level! This studio is a very special place filled with wonderful people. Ultimate 1st Dance Experience! My husband and I signed up for the class package to learn how to move better together and to make sure we were prepared for our 1st dance at our wedding. Our instructor worked with us to figure out our style; teaching us the foxtrot and hustle. With these two dances we created our 1st dance which was only choreographed for the first 30 seconds and then we were able to use these dances to freestyle the rest, completing with a lift and dip! The dance was absolutely perfect for our big day! Thank you so much!

I love going to private lessons and group classes at this studio! The instructors are so skilled, professional, and fun to work with and I learn something new at every lesson. The group classes are so fun and I've met a lot of great people through them. It can be a workout for sure, and I like that I can focus on a specific style I want to improve in or also have a fun activity for my boyfriend and I to learn social dances. They know it all!

As a serious ice dance student, for more than 25 years, and an ice dance judge, I appreciate the complexity of dance. To do each dance well demands excellent technique, proper rhythm and expression, flexibility, and strength.

Four months ago, I went to Dance with Me Stamford, with a particular goal - related to a difficult piano piece. I wanted to better understand the rumba rhythm. Since then, each week, it has been a complete pleasure to be Sasha's student! He is a total professional, in every way: knowledgeable, unfailingly enthusiastic; a superb dancer - and a great teacher! He has been demanding but patient; able to point out and correct errors; and demonstrate proper technique and posture. It's not been easy, but it's always fun, and I am progressing. I started taking lessons at DWM a little over a month ago and I’m so happy I found this studio. I’ve wanted to learn ballroom for a long time and being at the studio is the highlight of my week. The atmosphere is so fun and welcoming and all of the instructors and staff are amazing. I hope to be dancing here for many years to come!
