Pool was shut down Quiet even tho it was full. Very nice and informative desk clerks. Very minimalistic breakfast. Only packaged honey bun, yogurt, coffee and tea , juice and cereal w milk. Desk cleared blamed their breakfast on COVID. i told her I stayed at Hampton Inns in Lafayette LA April 19, 2024, 6 months b4 and we had full breakfast bar to enjoy anything we wanted to eat and as much as we wanted!

All of the staff was very friendly and professional. I understand it's not a high end hotel, but many other hotels have gone back to full breakfast in mornings. I was really disappointed that the pool was in such bad shape. My fiancee and I wanted to get away for the weekend and with the heat we've had, we were really looking forward to enjoying sine time in the pool. There should be something one the website stating the pool is closed for whatever reason, but instead there are beautiful pictures of perfectly blue water, that is very misleading and disappointing.

The actual sleeping area was nice enough and clean but then I went in the bathroom. The walls were filthy, the floors were filthy in the corners and when I went to take a shower and closed the shower curtain there were 2 washcloths hanging from the previous renter.
My husband went to get us a drink from the vending machine and there were people smoking pot. Not a good environment.
The customer service was good and they were friendly.

We left a day early and since we checked out before 11 they did refund us the extra day.

The only good was a comfortable bed. This hotel is in disrepair and kind of a creepy place to stay. The “breakfast” was pretty much non existent. Coffee was nasty and they had some old looking plastic wrapped buns. The lobby and rooms have wired smell. I never give reviews until now. I’m just trying to make travelers aware. We paid $125 for room worth maybe $50 at most.

Front Desk ppl are AHHHHMAZING...
Rooms DEF need an upgrade...the 1st one I looked at was a, King Suite and it was nice but the kids (here for Christmas) wanted me to spend the night with them and the, GranGirl so we were in #107 which is a queen double.
The shower head fell off while I was shampooing my hair. There was rust around the ceiling as well.
The front door did not close completely so there was always noise, light, wind & chill coming through the Crack.
The room was CLEAN as was the linens, bedding & carpet...it is simply time for some, TLC.
I/we would stay again just in a little better room.

This dump wouldn’t let my wife / secretary prepay for this room without her here. Even though it was prepaid through Priceline and required a 100 dollar cash deposit because it would take a week to get my money back. I’m selecting quite because I’m the only one on this side of this Motel. Yes exterior corridor makes this a motel. Ownership is non accessible while my room is lacking due to the fact that a nearby Holiday Day express close by and only a few dollars more. Light breakfast and really unkempt room damn wasn’t worth the 20 dollars. Never a Wyndham property again.
