The ambience here is very nice and can accommodate large crowds. Drinks are very good but the food is awful. Not a single items order were good. Mussels incredibly dried and no taste. Meatball and dumplings were hard. Would not recommend making this a dining experience. Not worth your hard earn dollars. We were disappointed taking our evening time from NJ to make this trip. As mentioned prior, this place is for the ambience and drinks at the bar. Don’t come here on an empty stomach.

Great ambience and the food is amazing! Also a wide variety of international beers. Unique experience compared to anything in Media.. Service was friendly and fast, and the owner checked in to ensure we were having a good experience. Recommend the Lamb Lollipops, Mediterranean Platter, and the Toro Chips with pickled veg and marinated tuna. Such a refreshing addition to the Media food scene!

This place is really one of Media's hidden Gems! From the hosts, to the wait staff, to the kitchen staff, to the bartenders, everyone was amazing. The food was incredible and cooked to perfection and the drinks were on point. The atmosphere was awesome which added to the overall experience. Would highly recommend giving them a try. I am sure that once you do you will want to go back.

This is definitely one of my favorite places to enjoy delicious food and drinks. We have had the pleasure to dine there 3 times already. My favorite is the Butternut Squash Bisque and favorite drink Fraise Caliente Tequila. The atmosphere is relaxing plus staff is friendly and attentive. Can’t wait to go back !!! We have done bar and table seating both great !

Departures in Media is a slam dunk!!! We eat out in Media regularly, there are so many great restaurant options, and I have been meaning to try Departures but it wasn’t in our normal rotation so I kept forgetting. Recently, it’s been recommended to us several times and I saw a great write up about it, so we finally went tonight.
Every single dish was terrific. The toro chips, fish and chips, and shrimp skewers were particularly delicious. We also had an incredible dessert, a warm apple cinnamon cake with ice cream. The sake to me and lavender martini were SO yummy, and they had great beer options (my husband is always happy to see Levante’s cloudy and cumbersome on a menu!)
Mary was our server and she was lovely and had great recs, and we met the owner on our way out and she was also very kind.
I’m so glad we went, Departures will probably be my first choice when we go out in Media now!

I had the pleasure of dining at Departures and was thoroughly impressed with the exceptional cuisine and beverages. The tapas-style dishes, made from scratch with globally-inspired flavors, were so exquisite that I neglected to take photographs of every course. The restaurant's décor is truly spectacular, featuring a comfortable lounge atmosphere. Overall, my experience was outstanding. I will be a regular and expect this place to be a show stopper! Truly out of this world! ✈️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

So cute inside, drinks were great, Mary was awesome! I liked the food but I think some of it needs a bit more work. Probably my new go-to happy hour spot.
