It was absolutely amazing! As a kid growing up I was forced to do Civil War reenactments with my parents although as a kid I was not as interested in the history of it as much as I enjoyed getting out of school to travel. We had done the museum the battlefield tour and the bus tour all of which I highly recommend. You learn something different and look at things from a different aspect each time well worth the money and a perfect weekend getaway.

We used Destination Gettysburg to plan our trip here. They were super helpful in finding us some tours, and reenactments. We came all from the way from Newfoundland Canada and were so glad we visited! We definitely recommend using Destination Gettysburg to plan your time here in town. And everyone is so friendly!

The staff was incredibly helpful and couldn't do enough for me. I left with a ton of brochures and recommendations that were perfect for what I had in mind. I highly suggest that visitors stop here first to stock up on reading supplies and ideas.
